A few months after the introduction to Quincy, I got terrible news from my parents and Bridget that she would be moving to her aunt's place to further her studies and it broke my heart because she didn't come to say goodbye and I got extremely bitter.


"Won't you go and say your final goodbyes?" My mother asked and I stubbornly refused.


But after several minutes, I could no longer stay put and I snuck out of the palace and ran all the way to her home just for me to meet her carriage already leaving.


Tears filled my eyes as I shouted her name with a heavy heart.


But she didn't respond and I felt like dying but called again as I kept running after it when it was already too far.


And just when I was slowly losing hope, she finally poked her head out the window of the moving carriage and called my name, "YOUNG CHAD! I THOUGHT YOU WILL NEVER COME!"
