I sat in the midst of the Lords of our kingdom as the Duke spoke on behalf of the others. His son was present as well as Viscount Gilbert but I paid no mind to them.


At the mention of that, it finally dawned on me that they were still in the dark about Peter's true identity and it would be challenging to reveal it now. We had to be smart about it.


I looked at Peter and the way he looked at me told me he had everything under control and I had to trust it.


We were in the meeting room and sat in order around a long oval table. I was seated on Peter's right as he took the head chair since he was next in line.


"I have already made a decision regarding the Queen," he announced and looked at everyone.
