The very next day when I decided to go to the dining room to have my breakfast, I stood in surprise when I found Peter's moustache gone.
Ruby was present and so was my stepmother and of course, my father.
They all shifted their eyes to me as if shocked that I came to join them for breakfast.
Well, it is understandable for them to give me that look because I hadn't been eating with them.
"Look, the princess has decided to come down from her tower," my father openly taunted me as he busied himself with rubbing butter onto a freshly baked bread.
But instead of retorting, I went and sat beside Peter on the left side of the table while our father took the throne chair. As for my stepmother, she should have taken the other end of the table but it would be too far from her husband which is why she sat right next to him on his right side with Ruby by her side.
There were over twelve chairs in total but five were currently occupied.
