Even though Four Arms had spoken sincerely—without the slightest hint of sarcasm—
Dr. Animo still felt completely humiliated.
"Not enough"? Make a few more mutated creatures?
To him, that was pure mockery.
"Kill him!" Dr. Animo roared, his face twisted with rage. "I don't want him alive!"
The two giant hamsters shrieked in unison. Their razor-sharp teeth gleamed as they lunged at Four Arms, aiming to slam him down and tear into him.
"Be careful!" Grandpa Max shouted, sweat forming on his brow.
Four Arms cracked his knuckles.
"Perfect," he said calmly. "Let's see how strong I've gotten."
He didn't dare unleash his full strength—the supermarket wouldn't survive it.
Instead, he tightened every muscle in his massive frame. Power surged through his body, compressing like a coiled spring.
Then—
BOOM!
He released a concentrated burst of force forward. An invisible shockwave exploded outward, slamming into one of the charging hamsters.
The creature didn't even realize what hit it.
The impact shook the entire aisle. Shelves tilted violently as the pressure wave rippled outward.
Four Arms immediately extended all four arms, catching the falling shelves and pushing them upright before they could collapse.
The giant hamster staggered in place, wobbling like it was drunk. Its eyes spun, dazed from the shockwave alone.
Dr. Animo's pupils shrank.
"Just… from a power release?"
He took an involuntary step back.
Four Arms reached down, grabbed the hamster by the scruff of its fur, and lifted it like a kitten.
"Nap time."
Smack!
One clean slap.
The hamster's head snapped sideways. Its eyes rolled back, and it went limp instantly.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! Sign-in successful!
Reward: White-tier enhancement — Alien form strength increased by 5%.]
"Apply it to Four Arms."
Warm energy flowed through his body again. His already monstrous strength increased further.
It felt incredible.
Four Arms casually tossed the unconscious hamster aside and turned his four eyes toward the remaining black mutant.
The creature froze.
It didn't dare move.
Meanwhile, Dr. Animo's confidence completely shattered.
"These store-bought pets aren't enough," he muttered nervously. "This monster… he's beyond my calculations."
He twisted the gear on his chest again.
Electricity surged toward a nearby cage.
Inside, a parrot squawked—
Then exploded in size.
Feathers expanded, wings stretched wide, and within seconds it transformed into a massive bird, towering like something out of ancient legend.
"Go!"
Dr. Animo leapt onto the giant parrot's back.
As the creature flapped its enormous wings, powerful gusts of wind blasted through the pet aisle, shattering nearby windows.
"When my gene manipulator reaches stage two," Dr. Animo shouted smugly, "I'll unleash prehistoric creatures on you!"
The giant bird took off.
"Don't run!" Four Arms lunged forward—
But the bird had already burst through the ceiling structure and soared into the sky, shrinking into a distant black speck.
Four Arms lowered his arm slowly.
"…Tch."
He turned his attention back to the last remaining giant black hamster.
The creature trembled violently.
Four Arms approached calmly.
"Relax," he said, oddly gentle. "I'll make this quick."
He placed one large hand on the hamster's head—
Then flicked forward with a single finger.
This time, he didn't hold back.
BOOM!!!
The flick alone launched the giant hamster across the aisle. It rolled over a dozen meters before crashing to the ground, unconscious.
Silence fell over the ruined pet section.
All threats neutralized.
Grandpa Max stared at the destruction—and at the towering alien standing amidst it.
"…Aiden's alien forms," he murmured quietly, "are even stronger than most of the species they come from."
Four Arms exhaled slowly.
Dr. Animo had escaped.
But this wasn't over.
Not even close.
