While Alexandra continued getting to know Lin Feng, it became increasingly obvious that she was being drawn toward him.
Their conversation flowed naturally, and every so often Alexandra would laugh at something Lin Feng said or look at him with undisguised curiosity.
Ning Xi noticed everything.
She was sitting comfortably in a corner of the room, slowly nursing her drink while quietly observing the two of them.
There was no anger on her beautiful face, nor was there any obvious sign of jealousy.
Instead, she looked remarkably calm.
Hazel, however, was having a much harder time hiding her feelings.
Her eyes repeatedly wandered toward Alexandra before eventually returning to Ning Xi.
After hesitating for a while, Hazel walked over and sat beside her.
"Aren't you jealous, Ning Xi?"
Ning Xi glanced at her.
"Jealous?"
"Yes."
Hazel lowered her voice and looked toward Alexandra again.
"Aren't you worried that Alexandra might steal Lin Feng from right under your nose?"
