A moment later, they began streaming down her cheeks.
"Waaaah..." She cried while clutching her belongings.
"You came back!"
"I missed you so much!" The sight was both adorable and amusing. The servants passing nearby looked at one another awkwardly. It was only a pen and some paper.
Yet the little girl was reacting as though long-lost family members had finally returned home. Su Wanwan paid no attention to anyone. She continued hugging her treasures tightly.
Then she carefully inspected every page one by one. She flipped through them nervously. Her expression became increasingly relieved.
"Nothing is missing..." She checked another page.
"Wanwan's notes are still here..." Another page.
"Wanwan's drawings are still here too..." She even found a crude drawing she had made of her mother the first time she tried drawing her.
Although the drawing looked nothing like her actual mother, Su Wanwan still nodded proudly.
"It's perfect."
