For the next few minutes, the two teachers bantered back and forth, their playful teasing filling the air. Ning Xi's blush never faded, while Ye Jian seemed thoroughly amused by every flustered reaction.
Finally, Lin Feng, who had been watching quietly stepped in.
"Enough teasing. I'll help you, Ning Xi," he said gently.
Since Ning Xi was fully determined to stick with him, there was really nothing Lin Feng could do but accept it and keep his guard up against whatever she might do.
"Women are truly fierce creatures," Lin Feng was once again reminded of this truth.
Ning Xi's heart skipped a beat, and her cheeks flushed once more. Relief and excitement mixed together inside her chest as she nodded quickly.
