The next day, Rai woke up early as usual, though a dull, persistent ache in his lower back made him groan as he stretched. His spine was stiff, a direct consequence of spending the previous night squirming, arching, and losing himself under the heavy weight of Zade's body.
Because of that literal, physical reminder in his bones, it was entirely impossible not to think about Zade.
Rai started his day completely flushed from head to toe. Standing by the stove, he looked down at his trembling hands, his mind aggressively rewinding to the heat of last night before veering into dangerous territory: What the hell is going to await me in the coming days?
