"Ugh!"
Rai woke up right on time to his alarm ringing, checking the time and feeling great about the whole day as he realized he had woken up exactly on time.
But then the scenes from yesterday rushed to the front of his mind, and he recalled the bastard's face. A groan escaped his lips as he opened the door and carelessly walked to the bathroom, only to pause when he realized his toothbrush was missing.
"Don't tell me…"
Early in the morning, Rai started with a few curses, and the sleepiness he had left was obviously now gone. He searched for his toothbrush everywhere, then found it in another corner, thankfully still clean and proper.
At least he had the decency…
Then he had to search around again for the toothpaste.
He bought them all yesterday, and that guy had put it somewhere too.
Also his cleanser and damn shampoo.
"Okay then, bastard."
Rai stopped looking for his things and just used Zade's cleanser after checking that it was okay to use. Also, his shampoo. The shampoo smelled good but since this was Zade's scent, he hated and regretted using this but now it's too late, he had already used Zade's things...
Rai finally came out of the bathroom, having wasted more than ten minutes looking for his stuff and cursing Zade.
He then went to the kitchen, grabbing things to prepare breakfast, which he would also pack and bring as lunch. He always cooked for himself, so this was normal.
But he pondered if he should cook for Zade too. Even though the guy was an absolute asshole, Rai wasn't that upset to not cook extra. Mostly because he loved cooking, and even if it was enemies, he would just cook.
Rai cooked rice and a few side dishes to go with it, then packed his lunch and cleaned the kitchen before going to get ready, leaving the left overs properly packed on the counter.
When he was ready to leave, it was exactly 7:00 a.m and he saw Zade's room was still closed. After all, the principal had already told him Zade slept late and woke up late too. He didn't want to wake him up. Even though he was an asshole to him, he somehow was a nice person to others, so...
'Good thing he found a way to be useful to the world at least.'
Rai rolled his eyes and put on his shoes, sitting on the sofa when he heard a crack and turned around.
Oh…
The bastard had woken up.
"Damn it! Why the fuck are you so loud?"
Zade's voice was hoarse and deep, in a quiet, frightening way when he sounded angry. Rai was startled by that but quickly recovered.
Still, he was taken aback again when saw the bastard was only wearing boxers and casually rubbed his short messy brown hair, not noticing Rai's disgusted look toward him.
"The fuck?! When was I loud?"
Rai complained.
"Just now. What were you hitting? I thought you were renovating the house or something, stupid fucker."
Rai looked at the shoe in his hand and realized he had hit it on the ground a few times out of habit.
'Maybe I was indeed loud…'
"It wasn't loud. You are just finding a reason to ruin my morning, aren't you?"
Rai protested.
"Oh! Am I?~ Seems like someone was upset in the morning?"
Rai gritted his teeth as Zade leaned on the wall, arms crossed as he smirked, looking down at Rai smugly. God, Rai wished he could punch that smirk off that ugly face.
"Stupid motherfucker! What if I was late because of childish behavior?"
"Oh… I knew you wouldn't be. The school is just a fifteen-minute walking distance. If you are late, you can run. You will never be late."
"…Bastard. My day is ruined even before it started."
"Was it? Thank you for the compliment, I guess."
"Yeah, you're welcome. You are a pain in the ass!"
Zade just chuckled, then walked to the other side of the sofa, sat down, and immediately spread his legs and arms, taking half of the sofa.
Obviously very underdressed and looking inappropriate in front Rai, who is very strict about everything, Zade wasn't acting clueless. He was doing it on purpose.
"The fuck are you doing?!"
"Sitting?"
Zade shrugged.
"Then sit properly."
"This is not school. You can't say that to me."
"…I can. Sit properly, fucker."
"Yeah. I guess you can say that. But I don't have to listen."
Rai was frustrated with Zade at that point and quickly put on his shoes, then rechecked his bag, avoiding Zade's eyes that were basically running over him from head to toe, the stupid grin on his face.
"Does the school have some teacher you are trying to impress? You look impressive today."
Rai looked at Zade with a disgusted expression, but in his head he was confused because did this fucker just… compliment him?
That's new.
And funny as hell.
"You looked boring as fuck back in the day. I see you finally got some sense."
Rai rolled his eyes, then got up.
"Look he-"
"I am looking, darling. You look good."
Zade smirked again, looking him up and down, making Rai feel weirded out by his words. Is this a new way of messing with him? Well, duh! Obviously...
"…What the fuck is wrong with you?"
Rai asked, frowning, as Zade got up and suddenly pulled him by the collar, staring right into his eyes, their breaths colliding as they were just centimeters apart.
"I am just convincing myself that I shouldn't ruin your hard work of looking presentable."
Rai smirked at that, pressing his index finger into Zade's chest, then pressing even harder to the point his nail print was left on Zade's chest.
"Well, maybe you should tone it down, because I don't do the convincing part. I will ruin you."
Rai gritted his teeth as he finally pried his collar out of Zade's strong grip, then tried to smooth the area as it was kind of crumpled now.
"Let's see who ruins who very soon, Rai."
Zade grinned, throwing himself back on the sofa, sitting just like before as he kept watching Rai, pleased with himself as Rai worked himself up with every single word he said.
This is why he loves messing with Rai.
You can say anything.
Even a good morning.
Rai will be pissed as fuck!
Actually, it's fair he gets mad, because all those years ago, Zade was the nightmare Rai wished he would never see again. But Zade wasn't going to let go. If Rai wanted to challenge him, he was ready for the challenge.
If Rai became an asshole to him, he would be a bigger asshole.
He really wanted to destroy all those strict, self-disciplined manners of Rai.
Mess with his control.
Mess with his demeanor.
Mess with his rules.
Mess the whole guy up.
