After sending the message, Rory deleted Paros from her contacts and shut off her light-brain.
She took out the piece of black crystal Paros had given her earlier from her space ring and handed it to Vincent.
"This is something Paros gave me before. Help me return it to him," she said calmly.
"Tell him that I still owe him one soothing session. When he needs it, he can come find me directly."
She truly didn't want to see Paros again. The man had actually wanted her to cook when he asked her to dine with him.
Even Jasper and Vincent couldn't bear to let her lift a finger—yet he had the nerve.
She was no longer the penniless nobody she used to be. Now she had star credits, backing, and family.
Vincent glanced at the black crystal, then smiled and nodded. "All right. I'll have someone return it to him shortly."
With Paros's matter settled, Rory smiled at Vincent, too. "I'll go soothe Jasper now. Call me if you need anything."
