ASTHERIEN'S POV :-
He was still applying the cream, I was feeling hot all over. In winter?
My cheeks were literally burning red.
No I'm totally not blushing!
As soon as he finished applying it, I wore my loose t shirt over it.
"Umm...if all done, we should go to sleep then..." He said, awkwardly.
"Yeah...on this bed?" I asked.
I really don't want him to.
"Do we have any other option?" He said sarcastically.
Why don't we have one?
He was on the other side of the bed, and I was on the another.
After a few hours, I still couldn't sleep, not because I planned to, but because whenever I take a small nap, I get those dreams again, this time these are even more horrible.
Finally after another year I was asleep.
[ In dreams ]
Mom, dad, don't leave me!
(Crying)
Someone save them please!!
(A accident happens, and everything blanks out, I could only see them going far far away from me.)
Mom, dad where are you going? Don't leave me!!
(Suddenly, the lady, the one whom I'm calling 'Mom', appears in front of me, a gun placed on her forehead head.)
No, not the gun!
(She's crying and telling me to run away.)
Shoot me instead!
Let my mom go!!
(Crying)

I woke up, panting. I was out of breathe.
Who the hell are they? Why do they keep crashing over my dreams?
Who am I? To them?
I was just processing, I finally calmed after a few minutes.
And just then, I realised I'm in his warm hug, his arms wrapped around me, my head resting on the shoulder, cheeks still wet from tears.
I slowly turned to see him, so that I can move away from the hug, slowly. But just after that he also turned.
Our gaze met, he was concerned, for me?
How can he just pretend that he likes me now? After hating me all these years?
He's making me like him too.
AS A PERSON!!
It's not that, that I like him, in that ways, but it's just that, I don't see him as a rude, arrogant, cold asshole anymore.
Before I could pull away from the hug, his hands loosened naturally.
"You should sleep now, we have to leave early." He said.
And made me lie on the bed. I was acting like a puppy, who is unable to do any work.
His hand was behind my head, he was lying me down, so basically he was looking at me.
Slowly the environment turned into something different.
He slowly leaned in, I didn't deny it.
I wanted to kiss him, but I can't. I can't just kiss anyone without consent. And also I'm not even confirmed about my feelings.
Or...maybe I am?
Before I could realise, he leaned even closer, my gaze automatically dropped on his lips.
I gulped, without noticing.
Then, suddenly he kissed me! Slowly, warmly, trying to deepen it.
I was melted into it too.
He slowly pulled back. Looked into my eyes, gave me a little smile, my lips moved by their own, and I smiled too.
He again looked at my lips, and kissed me.
That kiss was so long!
I don't even remember, when it was already 5AM!!
We both pulled back, my cheeks were like a red tomato!
"Are you really blushing?" He asked, smiling.
Yes, I am, who would not? Specially after a kiss!!
"No.." I muttered, pressing my hands, lightly, against his chest, to push him back.
And someone knocked on the door.
Like literally, it's 5AM, what is it?
I didn't even got to sleep properly!
He opened the door, a servent was there.
"Sir, Mr. And Mrs. Ashford are here!" She said.
"Ohk, tell them, we'll be coming in five minutes." He ordered.
"Okay, sir!" She said and left after giving him a bow, for respect.
But, why are their surnames different? He's a Flynn and they are Ashford?
Aren't they his uncle and aunt?
His family is so confusing!!
"Get up, we have to go down stairs!" He said.
"I don't want to! I don't want to leave the bed this early!" I acted.
"Or maybe you just wanna continue?...if yes, then let's do it first." He teased.
"No!" I said and stood up from the bed.
Ha Ha Ha! Nice trick to make me up from bed!
I went to the bathroom, to change into some good clothes, and wash my face.
I looked myself in mirror, I literally had blackholes under my eyes!!!
Why did I even stayed awake? And for what? A kiss? That just ruined my whole sleep cycle!! All because of him!!!
And suddenly, my thoughts again went to that kiss. My hand was touching my lips, thinking about what happened.
And suddenly I heard him chuckle.
He was standing, resting his hand on the door frame.
"Still thinking about it?...well anyways, I am going downstairs, come early!!" He said and left.
No I wasn't thinking about that!
After getting freshen up, I went downstairs, it was past 5:30, I greeted them, and they greeted back.
They were all sitting in the hall, on the sofa.
"We're too tired, all Bussiness class seats were booked! This was the only flight!" Aunt said.
"Then you both should rest for a bit, we'll call you, whenever the breakfast is ready!" He said.
"Yup, I think so too!" I said.
They went to their room, after ordering the helpers to pick up the luggage.
He was going too, I don't know where.
To the lounge? The garden? Terrace? I don't know.
I pulled his hand, I wanted to ask him something.
"Can I ask you something?" I said, as he turned to me.
"Yup, go on."
"Why are your and their surnames different?" I asked.
"Aren't they your uncle and aunt?" I added.
"Yes they are! Well years ago, my grandfather adopted my uncle, as he only had one child that is my dad because dad didn't wanted to come into Bussiness stuff. After adopting him, a few years later his real parents founded him, as he lost his parents in some accident, and after was taken to a adoption centre. He was still young, i was already born, My dad was capable too, and also uncle wanted to be with his parents, and his name was given after his real parents, so he's a Ashford and we're Flynn." He explained.
That was such a long explanation..but still it's confusing!
This chapter ends here. Again, sorry for late uploads! I promise, as soon as my main exams are over I'll post regularly!
