Seeing this, Gohan immediately moved to GT Timeline Goku's side and condensed fiery red energy in his right hand, melting the ice on Goku's chest.
"Thank you!"
GT Timeline Goku nodded gratefully.
Gohan gave a small nod and turned his gaze toward Omega Shenron.
Omega Shenron's expression grew solemn. He was confident he could defeat Goku, but Gohan was a different matter. Fighting both at once would not be easy.
"Gohan, what's this? Are you planning to team up with Goku against me?"
Omega Shenron deliberately provoked him.
Gohan smiled calmly.
"No, I'm enough to deal with you by myself."
"Is that so?"
Omega Shenron visibly relaxed.
Just then, GT Timeline Goku spoke up.
"Gohan, leave him to me."
"Dad, you want to fight him?"
GT Timeline Goku nodded firmly.
"Alright."
Although Gohan knew GT Timeline Goku could not defeat Omega Shenron yet, he allowed it.
This would let Goku understand the gap in power, and it would also allow the Universe Seed to absorb more battle energy.
That was Gohan's true purpose for coming to the GT timeline.
After the earlier battles, the Universe Seed had already absorbed 26% of the required energy.
Omega Shenron looked at GT Timeline Goku with disdain.
Even though Goku was powerful, he was far inferior to Super Omega Shenron.
"Ha!"
GT Timeline Goku charged forward with a clenched fist.
Omega Shenron sneered and fired blade-like energy blasts from his hand.
"Syn Shenron's technique!"
Goku immediately recognized it.
Omega Shenron then gathered a massive fireball between his hands.
"Nuova Shenron's power!"
GT Timeline Goku dodged swiftly.
Omega Shenron flashed forward and kicked him in the abdomen.
Bang!!
GT Timeline Goku crashed to the ground, dust exploding upward.
Omega Shenron followed up with a barrage of energy blasts.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
The ground shook violently as explosions engulfed Goku.
"Grandpa!"
Pan shouted anxiously.
When the dust cleared, GT Timeline Goku was half-buried in a crater.
"Damn it!"
He forced himself up.
Omega Shenron smirked.
"Goku, you are far too weak. You are no match for me."
"The fight has just begun!"
GT Timeline Goku rushed forward again.
They clashed fiercely, but Omega Shenron's speed and strength overwhelmed him, forcing Goku back repeatedly.
On the Sacred World of the Kais.
GT Supreme Kai watched in frustration.
"Gohan can clearly defeat Omega Shenron. Why let Goku fight?"
Kibito Kai asked cautiously, "Ancestor-sama, can Gohan defeat Omega Shenron after he absorbed all the Dragon Balls?"
"Probably."
"Probably?"
"I'm not Gohan. How would I know for certain? It's a conjecture!"
Kibito Kai lowered his head silently.
Back on Earth.
Omega Shenron kicked GT Timeline Goku through a building.
"Grandpa!"
Pan turned to Gohan urgently.
"Dad, are you really not going to help?"
Gohan smiled slightly.
"It's not that I won't. He wants this fight. I'll step in when he truly can't continue."
Pan felt somewhat reassured.
Omega Shenron glanced toward Gohan.
"Gohan, Goku is no match for me. Shall we continue our fight?"
"Alright."
Gohan instantly appeared before him.
Omega Shenron threw a heavy punch.
Gohan blocked it with his left hand.
The two moved across the battlefield at blinding speed, their fists colliding violently.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
They rose into the sky, shockwaves rippling through the air.
GT Timeline Goku slowly stood up again.
At that moment, GT Timeline Gohan and the others arrived.
"Gohan!"
GT Timeline Gohan looked toward his father.
"Dad, how is it?"
"For now, your counterpart has the upper hand."
GT Timeline Goku nodded.
"In that case, lend me your power."
"Our power?"
"Yes. I want to try breaking through the limits of Super Saiyan 4."
"Dad, you still want to fight him?"
"If your counterpart defeats him, I won't need to."
"Alright!"
GT Timeline Gohan, Trunks, and the others transformed into Super Saiyans and began transferring their ki to GT Timeline Goku.
Omega Shenron was startled by the surge of energy.
Gohan seized the opening and delivered a crushing punch to Omega Shenron's abdomen.
Omega Shenron roared as he was blasted down into the ground once more.
