"Is something wrong?" Clementine asked.
I met her gaze, then pointed at the entrance with my chin.
"I think someone's out there fighting."
She paused for a moment, deeply focusing beyond the chasm, but just like me, she wasn't able to see outside. It worried both of us equally, but as for Kai, who had overheard our conversation, he didn't seem too worried.
"So what if someone's fighting? Do you seriously think there's a force that can go past five Demon Kings? Pfft... If you really think that, then you're stupider than I thought. On another note, they're done killing everyone, so let's get this over with, shall we?"
He walked ahead and slowly approached the large portal leading to the Demon Realm. The other saviors also huddled around it, waiting for Clementine and me to come.
So after a brief pause, we did.
Once we got to the portal, the first thing we did was try to glance into it with our energy, but sadly, we weren't able to.
