Vincent cocked his head back.
"Do I need a reason to visit the place where I once used to serve?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Maybe you'd sound more believable if, before coming here, you didn't blow up a train full of people."
He fell silent for a moment, then placed his flintlock pistol on the table.
"I came here because I needed to. Just like you, I'm on a mission alongside Kai. Now, if you're going to keep asking me these senseless interrogatory questions, then I'll be taking my leave."
"I see..."
I guess I won't be able to get anything out of him.
I subtly glanced at Clementine, and she met my gaze, then winked.
But she could.
"Don't worry, I'll stop now."
I stood up and went back to my seat, took a few sips of beer, and then glanced back at Vincent.
"You should eat some food as well. It's delicious."
"I already ate. Also, what's the plan beyond just getting inside and searching the underground area? What happens if whatever's down there is too much for us to handle?"
