I walked into class, trying my best not to trip and fall because I didn't sleep all night and that award goes to my step sister playing music on the speaker through out and having her friends over and news flash – they hate her.
I'm not even going to blame them at all because she's unlikable and too rude. I had Mathematics and I wasn't happy about it. I found those set of ice eyes staring at me already, as I make my way up to where he is.
"Hey Jere!" I sang.
"Hey" He smiled at me.
"Did you save a seat for me?" I asked and he nodded.
I smiled, "Thank you" I slide into the seat close to him.
"You look tired" He said, he wasn't looking at me now because he was typing on his laptop.
"I feel tired" I said and he hummed,
"Jere!" I whined, while shaking his hand.
He turned to look at me, "What?"
I pushed his hand away,
"Rude"
"I'm rude?" He asked.
I ignored.
"Your gonna regret not answering my questions" He said in a low tune.
I still ignored.
"Raven?" He called but I still gave no answer.
I don't even know why I'm doing this to him.
"If I call your name one more time, you won't like it" He warned and I felt scared but wanted to put on tough girl vibes. I was really scared. "Raven?"
I ignored him, again.
He smirked, "Let's play it your way then"
The lecturer walked in and I felt the feeling of being safe for now.
"Your not getting out of this" He whispered and I felt shivers run down my spine.
I felt an eye boring holes into the back of my head as I turned back to meet with Hannah's dangerous stare like she was going to bury me alive if I continue talking to him. I still don't get why she thinks I'm harmful when she's the problem here.
"Miss Ash, do you think you can solve that question?" The lecturer asked – eyes staring at me.
"Me?" I asked.
"Yeah, you" The lecturer smiled at me.
"Can I not stand up? I already know the answer" I said.
I know people think I'm really going to be dumb because I have TBI which stands for Traumatic Brain Injury. I don't really judge a book by it's cover because people just have hidden talents your not just aware of.
"Sir, I'm sure she doesn't know anything. I can help her out and the answer is 15" Hannah said.
She was wrong.
"That's not true. Since the Angle of a triangle is 360 degree, you will sum everything up and then divide it by 360 degree and your answer is 36" I said and everyone clapped their hands.
"Marvelous!. I should have made you my course representative" The lecturer said.
"Thank you" If there's anything I love doing then it's computer science but I take online business administration course online because I have to run a company one day. Class was over and I seemed to have just one class today and I'm so happy because I wanna go home and sleep.
"Raven?" I turned back and I smiled. "King"
"Your a pro and your stepsister is a bitch" He sneered.
"Maybe she just wanted to help" I said.
"You just see the good in people and mostly people like her and I think your awesome" He said and my face turned into crimson.
"Awn!, thank you. I really love your designer outfit, it's really your thing" I complimented.
"Thank you. I will see you later, okay?" I nodded and he left.
"You really hurt my feelings just now" A voice said and I turned back and Jeremiah was leaning on the wall with his hands in his pockets.
"You look like a bad guy" I said.
"Who said I wasn't?"
"You better smile because it's cute and don't put up that tough face, you will remind me of my dad when he's trying to find a blame to place on my head" I said.
"Well, you just broke my heart" He said. I frowned,
"How?" "I called you throughout today and you ignored and now when he called you, you smiled and answered"
"Oh! King was the first person to talk to me so we are kind of friends but you are still my friend" I said, trying to convince him.
"Your convincing tone sounds like a rejection one" He frowned and I walked up to him and held his hands and I shook it.
"Don't be mad at me" I pleaded.
He doesn't answer.
"
Jere!, I'm sorry" I shook his hand again.
He doesn't answer.
"I will get you anything you want as an apology gift"
He doesn't answer.
I sigh and stared at the floor, "Please talk to me" Tears spilled from my eyes.
He's my only close friend and King is just a friend.
"Jere, please talk to me" I sniffed as tears rolled down from my eyes.
"Are you crying?" He asked.
"Please talk to me" I said in a low tune.
"Look at me" His voice came out more like an order.
When I didn't, he lifted my chin up and his expression softened.
"Why are you crying?" He asked wiping off my tears.
"Your not talking to me and I also apologized but you don't wanna say anything"He smiled,
"I did hear you"
"Then why did you ignore me?" I asked.
"You did that too" He said.
"But I only get to do that" I said.
"Princess, we have some scores to settle, don't we?"He asked.
"Huh?"
In nanoseconds, I was pinned to the wall with his hand placed on the wall on my left, trapping me while his eyes stared deeply at me.
I gulped, "I thought we handled this?"
"You thought but I think you know we haven't, my love" He smirked.
"I'm sorry I ignored you" I said.
"And?"
"There's an And?" I asked.
"And your never gonna try that. Ever. Again" He smiled.
"But I needed you to listen to me but you didn't" I said.
"Is that why you said I'm rude?" He asked and I nodded.
He gave and amusing smile, "Why, though?"
"I need your attention but you didn't give me one. It's pretty annoying" I said.
He smiled, "I'm letting you go because I think you understand now"
"I do" He smiled and pulled away.
He stretched his hand out, "C'mon, let's go" I
take his hand and interlocked our fingers together.
"I wanna go where your going" I said
"I'm heading back home" He said as we walked towards his car.
"Jeremiah?" A voice called and we turned back.
Hannah.
"I have something tell you and it's about the engagement party for us"
