We move to the present — Tuesday, March 27, at 9:57 p.m.
We see a massive pit spewing enormous flames, with thick smoke rising into the sky and painting it black. Around the fire stand the mercenaries, laughing and shouting:
"Death to the traitor!"
We see Mamadou standing in front of the fire with his arm extended, his soldiers gathered behind him. One of them calls out:
"He has awakened, sir!"
Mamadou turns to Hakim, who was lying on his stomach behind him. Hakim had lost his arm and had just begun to regain consciousness.
Hakim says in a weak voice:
"What happened to me? Wasn't I on my way to the camp? How did I end up here?"
He looks around, then looks to his right arm and finds nothing there. Panic fills him as he starts screaming in fear:
"My arm! What happened to my arm?!"
Moments later, he looks at his left arm and notices it is deformed. His terror deepens, and he begins to cry and scream in shock.
Mamadou approaches him and says:
"Finally… you've woken up. Now it's time to pay the price."
One of the mercenaries comes closer to Mamadou and says:
"It seems he's lost his memory because of the drug we gave him. Should we wait until he remembers? Or what should we do?"
Mamadou turns to him angrily, grabs a metal chain, and walks toward the man, saying sternly:
"Kneel!"
The man trembles in fear and cries:
"Please… have mercy! I'm one of you! I didn't mean anything — I was only suggesting!"
But without mercy, one of the mercenaries grabs him and throws him into the burning pit. His terrifying screams echo from within the flames… until silence falls.
Mamadou then turns back to Hakim and approaches him with several mercenaries. They wrap Hakim's entire body tightly with heavy iron chains until he is unable to move.
While doing so, one of the mercenaries says:
"The man we threw into the fire lost consciousness from the pain… but that won't happen to Hakim, unfortunately. He took a drug that prevents him from passing out. With these chains and the intense flames, he will suffer as if he's in hell."
Hakim is then thrown into the fire. His screams rise as he burns, while the mercenaries laugh around the pit.
Hakim cries out in tears:
"All I ever wanted was to live… all I want in this life is a second chance! My God — give me another chance! I swear I will take revenge on humanity! I will be the one who controls mankind! Kings… presidents… religious leaders… the wealthy… the rich… I will wipe out every old man, every young man and woman! I want power! Just… one more chance!"
He continues repeating these words as he burns… until his body turns to ash.
We move beneath the Imperial Palace.
We see the personal guard of the Second Emperor's wife standing at a door that looks like the entrance to a storage room beneath the palace. The Second Emperor's wife appears in her finest attire, wearing elegant decorated clothing — yet she paces nervously and says to her guard:
"Are you sure we'll succeed? If the child dies during birth, I will be condemned immediately… he must be born alive."
The guard replies:
"I have brought the best doctors and priests for the delivery. Do not worry. And please stop pacing — your clothes will get dirty."
Before he can finish, the cry of a newborn baby is heard.
The Second Emperor's wife rushes into the room anxiously, with the guard following her. Inside, we see a bed surrounded by modern medical equipment. Several doctors are gathered, holding the crying baby. One of the female doctors says:
"The cry of this child is strange… it sounds like he is screaming while speaking."
But before she finishes, the Second Emperor's wife grabs the baby from her hands and starts laughing:
"The child of a forbidden affair… this is the strongest weapon in the nation! The weapon that will completely destroy the Emperor!"
She then runs out of the room. The guard calls out:
"My lady! Be careful with the child! He is a newborn — do not run!"
He follows her, bewildered:
"I've never heard a baby cry like that before… what is this crying?"
We enter the baby's consciousness.
He is screaming in English, repeating:
"My God… this is a second chance! I promise I will take revenge on humanity… I will control kings, presidents, religious leaders, and the wealthy…"
As he screams, a transparent window — like a system interface — appears before him, displaying:
"Warning: System Error. The following systems are malfunctioning: Special Ability — Ability Development — Deep Thinking — Intelligent Assistant — Storage Inventory — System Updates. Please restart as soon as possible to prevent permanent damage."
But the baby continues screaming, lost in his cries…
