Inside the base, the atmosphere was completely different from the chaos outside.
At the research table, Doctor Chin stood silently, his eyes fixed on a single card.
A blank Constellation Card.
Under the white laboratory lights, faint star-like patterns shimmered across its surface—as if something within it was waiting to awaken.
"Interesting…"
He adjusted his glasses and murmured softly.
On the other side of the room—
"ROYAL BOMB!"
TEOH KUI slammed his cards onto the table, laughing so hard he nearly fell off his chair.
"Damn it—again?!"
MANG GA LIN collapsed backward. "You won again? Did you peek at my cards or what?"
"Skill issue,"
TEOH KUI grinned proudly.
CHIN YI XIN smiled quietly, saying nothing as she reshuffled the deck.
Then—
WEE—WEE—WEE—!!
A sharp alarm blared through the base.
All three froze.
"This sound…"
TEOH KUI frowned. "A monster?"
"That's right."
Doctor Chin looked up instantly, typing commands into the console.
"Location confirmed—Bakar Arang."
"What? That's so far!"
TEOH KUI exploded. "How are we supposed to get there?!"
Doctor Chin smiled, clearly prepared.
"Haha, I thought about that already."
He pressed a button.
BOOM—
The floor on one side of the base slowly opened.
Three sleek motorcycles, engraved with glowing star patterns, rose from below.
"Whoa…!"
TEOH KUI's eyes lit up. "That's sick!"
"Rider bikes?"
MANG GA LIN was practically glowing with excitement.
"System ready."
The bikes spoke in unison.
"Ready."
"Destination—Bakar Arang."
Engines roared.
Three streaks of light burst out of the base and vanished into the night.
Bakar Arang was already in chaos.
"Monster—!!"
"Run—run!!"
A street livestreamer stumbled backward, phone shaking.
"Sekarang, everyone—what you're seeing is—MONSTER STARS!"
Before he could finish—
The monster reached out and lifted him effortlessly.
"Ei?! Ei?! Apa kau nak buat—potoh—!!"
His scream cut off.
Starlight was torn from his body, flowing like liquid into the monster's chest.
Suddenly—
Motor engines ripped through the air.
"Semua orang! Cepat lari!!"
TEOH KUI shouted, waving people away.
He and CHIN YI XIN split up, guiding civilians to safety.
MANG GA LIN skidded to a stop.
The Driver snapped onto his waist.
"STARS DRIVER!"
Card inserted.
"STARS RIDER!"
"Transform!"
The lever dropped.
"STARS UP!"
"STARS RIDER!"
Starlight exploded.
Stars Rider landed, Constellation Sword in hand.
He charged straight into the monsters.
Sword light flashed—
one fell, then another.
Too many.
Suddenly—
A winged monster took flight, diving toward the remaining crowd.
"Damn it—no!"
Stars Rider sprinted—
Too late.
At the very last second—
THUD!
A war halberd tore through the air, pinning the monster to the ground.
Stars Rider froze.
"Huh…? Yi Xin?"
CHIN YI XIN stood ahead, gripping the halberd calmly.
"Seems like every Rider series starts with bad combat skills,"
she said coolly.
"Huh?"
She raised her hand.
A Driver gleamed at her waist.
"You have one too?!"
TEOH KUI shouted.
"Transform."
"CHINESE STARS!"
The lever snapped down.
"STARS UP!"
"CHRONICLE!"
Ancient Chinese star patterns wrapped around her body.
Chinese Rider · Chronicle Form — 등장.
"What are you staring at?"
She swung the Chronicle Sky Halberd and charged in.
Stars Rider snapped out of it and followed.
"This one's tough,"
Chronicle Rider muttered.
She drew a card.
"Switch."
"CHANGE CARD!"
"DARK OWL!"
Stars Rider grinned.
"Then I'm not holding back either!"
"CHANGE CARD!"
"GEMINI!"
Twin power surged.
"Lend me your weapon,"
Chronicle Rider said.
"Huh?!"
Gemini Stars Rider hesitated—but handed over the Twin Splitter.
"FINAL ARMS—"
"TWINSPITTER · SHADOW TALON!"
The weapon reformed.
Chronicle Rider moved like a predator in the night, slashing relentlessly.
"It's over."
She pulled the lever.
"Oi! Wait for me!"
Stars Rider pulled his at the same time.
"RIDER! READY!"
"LET'S FINISH THE DANGER!"
Twin finishers collided.
The monster shattered into light.
As the smoke cleared—
Two blank Constellation Cards drifted down.
"Another blank?"
Stars Rider picked one up.
"Same here."
Chronicle Rider held hers up.
"Why do you get one too?"
She smiled faintly.
"Because—
we defeated it together."
"Ohhh—!"
The light faded.
Both Riders reverted to human form.
Then—
CRACK.
Space itself split open.
A dimensional gate slowly unfolded.
A boy stepped out.
TEH SHI GUANG.
A Stars Rider card floated above his palm.
"Heh."
He looked up at the night sky.
"Constellations…"
Back at the base—
"Doctor!"
MANG GA LIN couldn't hold it in. "Why can Yi Xin transform too?"
"What? Jealous?"
Doctor Chin laughed.
"Not jealous—just curious!"
"I awakened earlier than you,"
CHIN YI XIN answered calmly.
"I received Chronicle Rider's power first."
"Then why didn't you fight back then?"
"If I had—"
She looked at him.
"Would you have awakened?"
MANG GA LIN froze.
"…Fair point."
"Dad."
The room went silent.
"…Dad?!"
MANG GA LIN and TEOH KUI yelled in sync.
"Yeah,"
CHIN YI XIN said casually.
"Doctor Chin is my father. Problem?"
Before they could process—
WEE—WEE—!!
The alarm rang again.
Engines roared.
They rode into another battlefield.
Starlight exploded once more.
Gemini Stars Rider and Chronicle Rider fought side by side.
The monsters split into countless forms.
"Three directions!"
Stars Rider shouted.
Sword and halberd crossed.
One by one, the monsters fell.
Suddenly—
"Yi Xin! That one!"
A monster bearing the Gemini emblem began charging power.
"Got it!"
"MAXNI CHINESE STARS ATTACK!"
Stars Rider slammed the Gemini card into his sword.
"GE—GE—GE—GE—GEMINI!"
A colossal blade descended.
Chronicle Rider spun into a flying kick—
Starlight detonated.
The monster vanished completely.
The Gemini card in Stars Rider's hand began to change.
"Huh…?"
The light faded.
"Not bad,"
CHIN YI XIN smiled.
Far above—
In the shadows.
"Impressive,"
TEH SHI GUANG whispered.
"This Rider…"
High in the sky—
The light of the Thirteenth Constellation quietly grew stronger.
