Thump thump thump my heart started to race wildly and with every beat the sound grew louder and
louder making me freeze in place as the sound over took my own hearing my movements becoming stiff
petrifying me causing me to believe that someone would notice or hear how loud my heart was beating.
My blood quickly ran cold as if the heat I could feel only minutes ago was nothing but an illusion I had
thought of, the sudden chill filled up the air making my skin crawl with goose bumps followed quickly by
a sudden body shake shiver. The cold made me wish that I had dressed more warmly, making me regret
choosing jeans instead of those wooly cream thermal leggings that matched the plaid skirt which both lay
on top of my bed at home. Yet only moments ago when the ice spikes grew rapidly and changed the
atmosphere's warmth sucking the heat out of the air I hadn't noticed the cold, yet now I couldn't tell if
there was any heat left within the room at all. My breath finally left my lips but only a white cloud
appeared, my breath finally became slow and paced evenly all while I tried to fight the tears that have
decided to perk themselves on the edge of my eyes waiting eagerly to spill. A single large bead of sweat
had started to form in the middle of my forehead just above my eyebrows and my hands suddenly became
clammy yet full of a sap like moisture causing me to rub them onto my pants all while my hands trembled
uncontrollably. Suddenly my stomach filled with a sickening queasy feeling as if my insides were chasing
each other and caused themselves to tie them into a note and instead of stopping they continued to chase
each other making me want to puke. I could feel the colour drain from my face as if I were a plain canvas
only to have paint poured down me slowly before finally mustering up enough courage to whisper the
words I had long wished to say for so long "Mother". The woman finally made eye contact with me, her
eyes seemed to be looking me up and down as if scanning me or perhaps analyzing me as I had her except
she had a small and sweet smile painted on her lips as she scanned me. Before she let out a small chuckle
as she stepped closer only to place the palm of her left hand on my right cheek and caressing it with her
thumb gently causing me to nuzzle into her hand. As I finally started to feel the warmth of a fire that
flickered wildly and brightly as it set a forest a blaze suddenly the warmth was gone and her palm was no
longer on my face. Her back had now turned to me just as quickly. She was now directly in front of Sal,
probably taking in her all grown up analyzing her as she had just done before. Suddenly she leaned closer
to Sal and planted a small and soft kiss onto her forehead before stepping back into the center of the
circle once more. Sal's face was no longer cold and emotionless; it was now saturated with tears that kept
streaming down her cheeks and falling off the edge of her chip only to fall onto the floor. All that could be
heard in the room was the soft drip drip drip from Sal's tears, and suddenly a bubble started to form
inside her right nostril which started to grow with every drip that fell onto the floor. A large bubble of
snot sat on the edge of her right nostril as her chest started to rise heavier than slowly yet quickly only to
repeat. The scene looked as if she were a toddler who was trying to stop herself from crying but the only
difference was she hadn't made a single sound and still managed to ugly cry. A loud Pop broke the silence
and with that the snot bubble that sat on the edge of her nose was now dripping all over her wavering lips
the snot bubble had exploded and not in a cute way. "You both have grown so beautifully. I can't even tell
that your identical twins now well i definitely can't now with all that snot of your face Atlas and Sunniva
you have my flamed hair" Mother laughed in a sweetened and cheerful yet sad voice. Sal's lips started to
tremble, whilst my hands shook but unlike mother we couldn't reply although i know sal most definitely
wanted to i could see the desperation flicker in her eyes causing them to gleam but if we did reply or
speak to her about trivial things or without her asking us why we wanted this cure or anything related to
this cure it would break the spell and we wouldn't be able to do the blood pact again since we had used all
participants blood to give her a body, the body she was using. After all this was a one time one way for all
kind of deal curse, my thoughts started to waver wanting to risk it all just to reply before finally findingmy composure only to be lost once more and unable to find my words. "What are the requirements for
this blood oath?" Mother spoke but this time more firmly while curiosity seemed to change the look on
her face w as she stretched her slender left arm forward before she pointed her finger next to her thumb
towards the bastard who sat on his throne. Her finger stayed pointing at the bastard who was once her
husband and our father yet he seemed to be paralyzed from fear or perhaps the pain from the ice spike.
Perhaps the spike had also taken his voice but I have never heard of any type of ice magic having such
power. Maybe it was a pearl of being a dead god. Then suddenly the peaceful quiet which only everyone's
heavy breathing could hear was replaced with a blood curdling scream that seemed to bounce off of each
ice spike individually causing the scream to echo as if hundreds of people were screaming at once. "No no
no this can't be real" A low yet frightened voice yelled again causing me to whip my head behind me only
to see the old man's eyes to have absolute terror in them, he's already sickly complexion now the exact
completion of a corpse "You're dead i killed you" he screamed once more but this time he had pain
twisted in his tone. With that the elegant woman who stood before me vanished with a puff of smoke that
was a light blue and white looking exactly like snow only for her to reappear in front of the old man. "Tell
me children, why are all 3 of you seeking a blood oath, one of the most sacred and most vile curses
throughout our relm against your own father? You must answer me because this is what determines my
requirement of granting your blood oath." Mother finally called but this time there was no emotion, no
remorse, nothing but a flat tone. "He had another illegitimate daughter and had her become my maid and
friend only to have her sleep with my partner whom I was to mate with and he encouraged their secret
relationship and their affair he even said i would have to accept an adopt his bastard children as my own
since it was my duty as his future mate" Sal spat loudly with absolute disgust. "He put a curse on me so i
am to never do anything against him, to never say anything disheartening to him ,to never go against or
harm him, he also took all the credit of everything i did and tried to marry me off to a man after locking
me in the castle my whole life using me as a puppet and a dog" Siri laughed with pure hatred flashing in
her eyes. "What about you child" Mother said as she looked back at me with pity after all there reasons
were bad, suddenly Sal and Siri looked at me with pity and sadness before sal mumbled "hers was far
worse".Taking a deep breath before finally "I was told to never use my powers which is death to a fire user
as you know" i smiled watching my mothers raised hand drop to her side and clenching onto her dress
"Continue" she spat "He locked me in the western town and tortured me to the point pain wouldn't hurt
me and poisons couldn't affect me obviously it worked i also gained rapid healing so it was worth it" i
laughed. "He took her wings" Siri whispered before darting her eyes to the ground as if that would help
her avoid my glare that was probably gonna burn a hole into her head. "Continue or i'll call off this deal
child" Mother yell with anger " After the last war i got very sick the bastard had me guarded in the main
castle and after being told of my sickness he told the doctor to find out what was wrong" i whispered
before directing my gaze onto the ground. A sudden pain feeled my heart as if i were going to collapse my
voice trembled before continuing "I was pregnant after the war and he dicided to call a meeting between
the kings of the kingdoms and dragged me to the meeting where he lied saying we were a threat to
allsince we were the only ones of our kind". the roo m feel silent before i continued " I had a silent spell on
me about the pregnancy since i was very sick so spells worked he encouraged them to banish us to a realm
and take our powers forcing us onto earth since he knew an earth pregnancy would taking longer so he
could secure the throne here i had my pregnancy for my entire sentence but 20 years ago when the
sentence was up i gave birth to twins he knew since he sent someone there who monetized us and instead
of coming to get us to save my children since they could not use their powers which was killing i begged
and begged for the moneture to take us home and they didnt he waited till they were dead and only
opened a portal 5 years laterafter they died before bring us back because of fear that my son would have
his throne" I cried as tears flowed down my checks making my eyes burn and sting with irritation causing me breaths to come out shakily "The monitored opened a portal after my daughter took her life said that
my father would come for me in 5 years because by than id have calmed down" i whispered brokenly as
anger stated to boil my blood and my whole body started to shake with anger. The room fell silent and
only my sobs could be heard before suddenly "You cheated on me, had not one but two bastards, you
abused and mistreated your own children you betrayed not just them but your people and exiled the only
people who care about this world, you killed my one and only son and you killed me on our girls sixth
year of life in front of them and you still did not learn" Mother roared. "I i i-i-i-i I'm s-s-s-s-sorry my
l-l-l-l-love" the old bastard stuttered as snot dripped down onto his quivering lips "You pathetic fool"
Mother laughed "I was your mate your life long partner the mother of your children and yet that didn't
stop you" Mother growled than suddenly a pool of water ran down the old man's leg and drenched his
white dress causing an eruption of laughter to fill the room. "You pissed yourself " Siri laughed "How
pathetic" sal snorted but i couldn't bring myself to laugh all i could feel was disgust. Than the ice spike
that was in the old man's leg finally disappeared leaving a massive hole that suddenly started to gush out
with blood but it was yellow and stunk like a corpse "It seems you made a deal to stay alive longer but it
seems you haven't kept your end of the bargain" mother laughed "Im s-s-s-so so sorry m--m-m-m-my love
i-i-i didn't m-m-m-m-mean to h-h-h-h-hurt you i-i-i-i did t-t-t-this f-f-f-for u-u-us i d-d-d-d-didnt mean
t-t-t-t-to kill y-y-y-you it w-w-was an a-a-aa-accident i-i-i-it was f-f-f-forus for y-y-y-you i-i-i-i couldn't
s-s-s-stand always b-b-b-being looked d-d-d-down upon p-p-p-please forgive me" the old man stuttered
as he continued to cry before finally sliding off of the throne like an animal without a spine causing
himself to be covered in snot, blood, tears and pee. As he weakly reached his hands up and tried to
desperately cling onto the end of mothers skirt only to slip and to tumble down the stairs continuously
thumping and thudding until finally a loud crash echoed as he hit the bottom of the marble tiles hard.
"It's not me you need to apologies to it never was but the audacity you have to do that to them your own
fucking children how dare you lie and say they were dangerous since id presume they were all following
your order since your a greedy bastard after all, they did everything you asked of them yet for you to do
them wrong by stealing there powers, influencing there lovers, restricting there freedom, taking there
happiness and you even taking there children's lives just to protect your trone" Mother roared causing the
ground to shake and the ice spike to make a beautiful melody as they tapped onto each other. His head
finally tilted up was now blooded and bruised with teary eyes as he tried to search for something within
her eyes, probably forgiveness or love only to see pure hatred and disgust plastered on her face. His lips
started to quiver before crying out once more "I'm so so sorry my love i was wrong". The woman's laugh
sounded more like an evil cackle as she looked down on the old man's face as tears continued to stream
down from his cold eyes and the woman vanished once more before reappearing next to me. "You killed
me on our girls 6th day of birth in front of them and if that wasn't enough you killed their baby brother in
front of them as well while having your mistress watch by your side and laugh, you tormented them by
showing off that bastard child, you did all of that because of jealousy how truly worthless after all
everything you have was never your to begin with it was originally mine and you stole it,my throne,my
royalty, my power, my money, my children,my kingdom, my people" Mother beamed out before lifting
him into the air as she lifted her right hand and before anyone could say or react her hand swiftly flipped
only to beacon for him to come to her and with that he flew to her without any warning only to drop onto
the largest ice spike that grew from where she once stood instantly. Yet this time he didnt make a sound
as blood turnerd the once white spike to a vibrant yellow that trickle over it only to look at him and see
that he had passed out "He asleep" mother hissed with disappointment "A deviils deal means they cant
die until they have fulfilled there part of the deal" mother continued "The conditions for the pact what
are they" Mother sighed "first condition is that no one can ever take or powers aand if you try to there
own powers will kill them, Siri will have her curse removed making her the next in line to the throne andlastly all those who fought in the war bothing and passed away will get the respect and closure they need
alongside a back payment from since their loved ones passing along side a burial ground for all those who
were involved in the war" Sal finally spoke firmly without hesitation "What was his conditions" Mother
groaned as her hand ran down her face in irritation "They all must attend Tessornor academy and keep
an eye on the deathly brother as they have started to get to much power which means they must restore
power to our kingdom and lastly Siri and i are to be married" Erena finally said calmly as she popped her
head out from behind the throne like cat checking to see if they would get away with bring the prey they
found outside into the house without getting caught only to be followed by the sharp Click-clack sound of
her heels which echoed off the walls and ice spikes before the click-clack sound finally came to a halt
because several ice spike flew up blocking her path "Father-in-law are you okay" erena's high chalk like
voice squealed as if that was going to help him wake up. "That curse on your child has long been broken
so choose another request" Mother spoke as she looked at Siri with a pitiful look "How do you know
that?" Siri asked in disbelief as if mother had no clue what she was saying. "His blood is yellow, a spell for
loyalty provided by an angel and can only continue if the caster is still an angel but as you can see he
doesn't bleed a liquid silver like they do but a vile yellow which is a devil's pact" Mother explained calmly
with a sorrowful look. "He was trying to play you child and this is one of fairness and trust no lies and
disadvantage" Mother continued wearily as if scared she'd offend siri in any way "If Suniva's children souls
are in the unground have him give her their souls so they can be reborn and if they can't be reborn at least
let us give them a royal send off so their souls can rest easy" Siri spoke as her eyes locked into mine before
nodding her head with a smile. "You don't have to do" I started to speak before mother cut me off "You're
a loyal one I'm glad my daughters have you, the blood oath is done". And with that mother's hands
clapped and the ice spike melted into puddles of water followed by a bright flash and a white and blue
cloud appeared then vanished into the ground and mother was gone.
