Chapter 87: Atomic Slash
In an instant, Boros crashed headfirst into the spaceship floor, his head embedding deeply into the hard alien alloy.
Before King could throw another punch, Boros yanked his head out and retreated hundreds of meters with a flicker.
He patted his face, realigning the features that had been nearly smashed in half. His powerful regeneration instantly healed the damage.
With bloodshot eyes, Boros spread his arms excitedly. His voice was filled with a maniacal craving for pure combat:
"This is the battle I've been waiting for! Satisfy me more!"
Blue lightning crackled and condensed on his right fist. Boros shouted and shot upward like a bolt of lightning, smashing a vicious punch into King's chest.
A violent energy storm exploded outward from the two of them. The floor beneath their feet melted away instantly, and both Boros and King fell to the next level of the ship.
King groaned, unable to stop himself from stumbling back. A trickle of blood spilled from his mouth, and the sound of cracking ribs came from his chest.
Behind him, the energy from Boros's punch passed through his body, forming a blue shockwave that obliterated the ship's structure in its path.
However, facing the result of his attack, Boros seemed surprised. He looked at his fist, then at King, his tone suddenly dissatisfied:
"Why?! You clearly could have blocked that punch! Why did you choose to take it head-on instead of defending?!"
King raised his head calmly and spat out the blood welling up in his throat. His caved-in chest expanded instantly, accompanied by the crisp sound of bones snapping back into place. His broken ribs were fully healed.
Facing Boros's shock, he replied indifferently:
"I just wanted to feel exactly how strong the Universe Dominator is, so I took the hit with my body.
"The power is decent. Enough to break my defense. But that's all. The Universe Dominator is nothing special."
King provoked Boros further, wanting this guy to unleash more power, pushing him to reveal all his strength before entering the Meteoric Burst state.
Sure enough, hearing these words, Boros laughed in anger. Every muscle on his body seemed to come alive, writhing constantly. Blue dots of light appeared on his skin, and streaks of energy seemed to climb up his giant eyeball.
"Good! Since you want to feel it, I will let you experience it!"
As his voice fell, Boros unleashed his full power. Terrifying energy fluctuations made the entire spaceship tremble faintly.
He could sense that King still had stronger power he hadn't unleashed.
Therefore, Boros chose not to activate Meteoric Burst yet. He wanted to test King's current limit further.
The three eyes met again. As if by a mutual understanding between the strong, they stepped forward simultaneously.
Boros channeled the strongest energy he could muster in his current state into a punch, leaving a blazing blue trail in its wake.
King raised his fist. Golden light flashed across his knuckles as he unleashed a power that mixed the flowing intent of water with domineering force.
[Imperial Fist]!
The moment their fists touched, the world seemed to fall silent. Heaven and earth lost their color, fading into monochrome black and white.
In the very next instant, a blue light and a gold light illuminated the world. The resulting energy shockwave shot straight into the clouds, piercing through the spaceship entirely.

Atomic Samurai watched the blue-gold pillar of energy soaring into the sky, his eyelids twitching.
"Oi oi oi... What is going on? What is this energy fluctuation that makes me want to kneel?"
As the S-Class Rank 4 powerhouse, Atomic Samurai could naturally sense how terrifying the power erupting inside the ship was.
Even as proud as he was, he was almost certain that if he joined a battle of that level, he wouldn't last three rounds before being obliterated.
It seems that guy King has already entered the ship for the decapitation strike... Could this energy shockwave be from his battle with the alien leader?

Melzargard noticed Atomic Samurai was distracted and didn't hesitate. He transformed his hands into dozens of sharp spears, thrusting them toward the fragile human body.
"Daring to get distracted while fighting me? Die, human!"
Sensing the wind pressure from behind, Atomic Samurai lowered his center of gravity and spun around gracefully.
Raise hand, draw blade, slash. All in one smooth motion.
The blade traced a chilling arc in the air. Slash marks spread through the void, instantly cutting Melzargard's extending spears into dozens of pieces.
But in the next second, the severed body parts reconnected at extreme speed, restoring themselves in the blink of an eye.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Human! I am an immortal existence! Facing us, you have only one path: DEATH!"
Seeing this, Atomic Samurai rubbed his forehead helplessly. The toothpick in his mouth snapped from his subconscious clenching of teeth.
"How troublesome. I hate fighting guys like you who aren't afraid of being cut. Not being able to kill you in one slash is really annoying."
Hearing this, Melzargard frowned. Just as he was about to curse the human for his arrogance, he realized the opponent had disappeared.
Where did he go?!
"Atomic Slash."
A faint voice sounded from behind. Melzargard turned around in surprise, only to find Atomic Samurai already standing behind him, sheathing his sword.

Melzargard sensed something and looked down in confusion. His body was now covered in thousands of slash marks. His massive form disintegrated, exploding into a cloud of fragments instantly.
"That should do it. Time to go support the others. As expected, the Atomic Slash works best."
Atomic Samurai pulled a fresh toothpick from somewhere and put it in his mouth. Just as he was about to leave to help the other S-Class heroes, his pupils constricted.
Instinct honed as a sword master and years of combat experience made him react without hesitation. He slashed his blade backward instantly!
