Immediately, I straightened so fast it almost hurt.

I quickly fixed my posture without even thinking about it, shoulders pulling back automatically while I tried to stop looking like a complete idiot standing alone under the lanterns staring at him all night. My hands awkwardly left my pockets for a second before I realized I had absolutely no idea what to do with them, so I shoved them right back inside again.
