Because as I stood near the forest line while the evening wind moved softly through the trees around us, I could physically feel my heartbeat everywhere. In my chest. My throat. My hands. Even breathing felt strange.
The wedding ceremony had been set up in the most beautiful place inside the Grayson territory, exactly where the forest opened into a massive clearing surrounded by towering trees wrapped carefully in warm golden lights. Candles floated everywhere, suspended softly through magic that Aurelian apparently spent weeks preparing, making the entire place glow like something out of a dream.
Rows of black chairs lined both sides of the path leading toward the altar area beneath the enormous trees, silver fabrics moving gently with the wind around them.
It was beautiful.
Too beautiful.
And honestly?
Terrifying.
Because this was real.
I was actually getting married.
