Ryland shifted slightly beside me, still close enough that I could feel him there even without looking.
Then he raised a hand, gesturing toward another man in the room.
"And Vaughn," he said, his voice a little softer now, "this is my pops."
There was a brief pause, like even Ryland was choosing his words carefully for this one.
"Sebastian Lightwood," he added. "He's our Luna"
My eyes moved to him immediately.
And I stopped for a second.
Because Sebastian wasn't just… tall.
He was massive in presence.
The kind of size that made a room feel smaller just because he was in it. Long hair fell past his shoulders and continued down, almost reaching his hips, dark and heavy in contrast to everything around him. His face had sharp, striking features, and a scar ran across it in a way that didn't take away from his appearance—it made it feel even more unreal. More intense. Almost ethereal in a strange, intimidating way.
