The Master's voice purred, amused. "You understand now. You bend fate without being noticed. You do not act; you allow. You do not control; you observe. That is Authority."
For the first time, Loki felt the complete flow of Aether through him. His systems, his chaos, his mischief—all were now guided by the unseen hand of observation. He could manipulate probability across the battlefield, subtly, gently… but devastatingly, if needed.
A corny moment followed, as always. Loki floated over Kael's head in a distant storm simulation, whispering, "Try showing off again, Master. This time, I can make sure you look ridiculously heroic… or absurdly clumsy." Kael, oblivious to the subtle threads of fate already bent around him, struck a heroic pose—and lightning, perfectly timed by Loki's unseen hand, zapped a goat. The goat survived, giving Kael a judgmental stare.
Loki chuckled. "Perfect. Balance and chaos. I am ready."
