Location: Shishido's Agency
Time: Three days later | 11:00 AM
STREETCH.
SWIISH.
STREETCH.
SWIISH.
Lion Shishido stood in the center of the training mats.
He gripped two thick, high-frequency resistance bands in his massive hands.
The other ends of the bands were bolted directly into the concrete wall.
Kaito stood a few feet away, holding his digital tablet.
"Keep your shoulders locked," Kaito instructed, watching Shishido's posture. "Cycle the arms. Do not pull with your back muscles. Use your triceps and shoulders."
"I know, I know," Shishido grunted.
He dug his boots into the mat. He started throwing rapid claw strikes, stretching the heavy rubber bands forward and backward.
One. Two. Three. Four.
He got to the fifth strike and lost his rhythm.
His left arm lagged behind his right. He instinctively twisted his waist to compensate for the speed.
SNAP.
"Ow!"
The thick rubber band slipped completely out of his sweaty grip. It whipped backward and slapped him directly in the face.
"Dammit!" Shishido yelled, dropping the other band and grabbing his nose. "That actually hurt!"
"You are twisting your waist too much," Kaito told him. "You are still trying to throw haymakers out of habit. These are speed strikes, Shishido. Square your hips. Stay planted."
"I am squaring my hips!" Shishido argued loudly, rubbing his red nose.
Kaito turned his tablet around and showed the video playback.
"Your left foot is pivoting," Kaito pointed at the screen. "Stop that... Just strike."
Shishido stared at the video.
"..."
He saw his own mistake clearly.
"Tsk.." He walked back to the wall, and grabbed the heavy rubber handles again.
"Fine," Shishido muttered, squaring his stance perfectly. "But when I get this combo right, I am calling it, Beast King Flurry."
Tap. Tap.
"Call it whatever you want," Kaito said, tapping his screen. "Start the timer. Go."

Time: Seven days later | 02:00 PM
Ken sprinted down a narrow, dirty alleyway.
A street thug carrying a stolen briefcase was running twenty feet ahead of him, dodging trash cans and discarded boxes.
"I'm closing the distance," Ken said into his radio collar, breathing heavily. "He is slowing down. I'm going to isolate my quirk to my fists right before I hit him."
[Timing is everything, Ken,] Kaito replied over the radio. [You are running at full speed. If you add the tungsten weight too early, your center of gravity will collapse. Wait until you are in striking range.]
"I got it," Ken said confidently.
He pumped his legs, closing the gap. He got within three feet of the thug's back. Ken pulled his right arm back and activated his Quirk.
He triggered it a full second too early.
VWOOM.
His forearms instantly turned into solid tungsten.
"Oh no!" The massive, sudden weight yanked his shoulders forward. It threw his running balance completely off.
Ken tipped forward. He tripped over his own feet and fell hard.
SCRAPE.
Ken skidded face-first across the dirty asphalt.
"What the?!"
"Hahaha..."
The villain looked back, laughed loudly at the hero, and kept running down the street.
Ptui. Ptui.
Ken groaned. He rolled over onto his back and spat out a piece of trash.
[You shifted way too early,] Kaito's calm voice came through the earpiece. [Satoshi is routing Kuma to intercept the target on the next street. Stand down.]
Ken sat up and rubbed his face.
"My nose is definitely broken," Ken mumbled, looking at the blood on his glove.
[Go get an ice pack,] Kaito told him. [We will adjust your timing drills tomorrow.]

Time: Eight days later | 04:00 PM
A villain fight broke out near a train station. People were screaming and running away from the plaza.
"Get out of the way!"
Goro, the massive rhino mutant, rushed straight into the chaos.
A villain with metal spikes growing out of his forearms saw the hero coming.
The villain grabbed a heavy metal pipe from the ground and swung it like a baseball bat.
Usually, Goro would just lower his head and charge from a block away.
This time, he remembered his new file.
He stopped running.
He planted his heavy boots on the concrete and ducked under the swinging metal pipe, stepped directly inside the villain's guard, and dropped his head low.
"Haha.. take this!" Then, he drove his thick legs up and jerked his massive neck backward.
WHAM.
Goro used his large horn like a forklift.
"Shii!"
The villain flew ten feet straight up into the air.
He crashed hard onto the aluminum roof of a nearby bus stop and rolled off, totally knocked out.
BAAM.
Goro stood up. He reached behind his head and rubbed his thick neck.
"Target secured," Goro reported over the radio, wincing loudly. "But hey, Manager. My neck is incredibly stiff right now. That sudden upward jerk really hurts."
[Your trapezius muscles are just sore from the new motion,] Kaito answered smoothly. [You aren't used to lifting dead weight vertically. Stretch it out. The police are on their way to bag him.]
"Did I hit him too hard?" Goro asked, looking at the unconscious guy on the ground.
[He is fine. Just bruised,] Kaito confirmed. [Good work, Goro.]
*-*-*
Time: Six days later | 09:00 PM
Kuma cornered a mutant villain in an empty grocery store parking lot.
The villain had thick, scaly green skin. He roared and threw two heavy, wild punches at the bear mutant hero.
He didn't punch.
He remembered the instructions Kaito gave him.
He stepped inside the villain's punches, taking a glancing blow to his shoulder.
Kuma wrapped his massive, furry bear arms entirely around the villain's torso. He locked his hands together and squeezed.
"Aah!" The villain gasped, his eyes going wide.
He then just leaned his body weight forward and secured a flawless grappling pin.
THUD.
Kuma slammed the villain down onto the asphalt and laid on top of him. The villain thrashed, kicked, and cursed loudly.
"Let go of me, you overgrown rug!" the villain yelled, trying to break the grip.
"Wahaha..." Kuma just laughed. His raw grip strength was absolute. The villain couldn't move an inch.
"Stop squirming, scaly," Kuma chuckled. "I can hold you here all night."
Kuma looked around the parking lot. The streetlights were perfectly intact. The parked cars were completely untouched.
"Hey, guys," Kuma spoke into his radio collar. "Just hugging them to the ground is actually way less tiring than boxing them. I didn't even break a sweat."
[Perfect restraint, Kuma,] Logistics praised through the comms. [Hold him there. Backup is two minutes out.]

Time: Seven days later | 01:00 PM
Clack. Clack. Clack.
Shishido stood on the training mats inside the agency gym.
He stared intensely at a thick wooden training dummy placed fifteen feet away.
"Focus on the acceleration," Kaito said, standing safely behind the equipment rack. "Snap the wrist at the end of the motion."
"This time. It will work!" Shishido dropped into a low, aggressive stance. He pulled his right arm back.
He pushed his physical speed to the absolute limit.
SWISH.
He swiped his claws forward. His arm moved so fast it looked like a literal blur.
It didn't completely break the sound barrier yet, but the sheer velocity displaced the air in the room. It created a sharp, highly compressed gust of wind.
The invisible wind blade shot across the gym.
CRACK.
The gust hit the wooden dummy. It left a deep, clean cut right across the solid wood chest.
"..."
"Finally!" Shishido slowly lowered his arm. He looked at the deep cut on the wood, and then he looked down at his own claws.
A massive, terrifying grin spread across his face. His lion tail swished wildly behind him.
He pointed a claw at the dummy.
"Beast King... Vacuum Fang!" Shishido yelled loudly, extremely hyped about his new ranged attack.
Kaito just tapped his digital tablet.
"Nice naming sense," Kaito said deadpan. "Now do it fifty more times to build the muscle memory."
"..."
Shishido dropped his arms and groaned loudly.
"You are a slave driver," Shishido complained, dropping back into his low stance.
"It's my job."

Time: Another seven days later | 11:00 PM
A group of weapon smugglers were rushing to load heavy wooden crates into the back of a delivery van near the dark shipping docks.
"Hurry up!" the leader hissed, checking his watch. "Load the crates faster before the patrols get here! This is the last batch of underground trigger drugs."
Step. Step. Step.
Footsteps echoed on the concrete.
Shishido stepped out from behind a large shipping container. He wore his heavy fur coat.
Strapped over his jaw was the heavy, custom metal face-guard from Detnerat-Shield.
"Damn! It's the lion!"
The smugglers panicked. They dropped the crates, pulled out their rifles, and aimed them right at the massive hero. Some of them activated their quirks.
Boom. Baang. Swiish. Swoosh.
Shishido didn't even flinch.
HUUFF.
He planted his boots and took a massive, deep breath, compressing the air in his lungs exactly how Kaito taught him.
"ROOOOOAAAAAR!"
The metal mask funneled the raw, chaotic sound.
Instead of an expanding shockwave that would destroy the entire dock, a tight, invisible beam of pure sonic pressure blasted forward.
BAM.
The concussive wall hit the smugglers head-on. It blew the heavy rifles right out of their hands and threw all four men violently into the side of their van.
They slumped to the ground, totally knocked out by the pressure.
Shishido closed his mouth.
He looked around.
The glass windows on the nearby warehouse were completely fine. The crates on the ground were untouched.
Shishido touched the metal mask. He looked up at the night sky.
"Beast King... Roaring Cannon!" Shishido yelled into the quiet night, absolutely thrilled with the new gear.

Time: Five days later (45 Days) | 09:00 AM
The agency was incredibly quiet.
The massive underground gym was a mess.
Used towels, empty water bottles, and broken resistance bands were scattered across the floor.
The 1.5-month transition and training phase was still going on.
The sidekicks were scattered around the mats.
They were completely exhausted.
Ken had tape over his nose.
Goro had an ice pack on his thick neck. Kuma was wrapping his bruised knuckles in white athletic tape.
They looked beat up, but out on the streets, they were moving with absolute, flawless precision. The property damage bills were still completely at zero till this day.
Shishido sat heavily on a wooden bench near the wall.
He wiped the sweat from his forehead with a towel and chugged a large protein shake.
Kaito sat on a metal folding chair near the equipment rack, quietly packing up his laptop and digital tablet.
Shishido looked at his sidekicks, then looked at the manager.
Shishido reached down into his small cooler.
He pulled out an ice-cold bottle of water.
He tossed it across the room.
Catch.
Kaito caught the bottle easily with one hand.
"Thanks," Kaito said, opening the plastic cap and taking a drink.
"No," Shishido replied, leaning his head back against the concrete wall. He looked at his own bruised hands, feeling the new, dense power resting deep in his muscles. "Thank you, Kaito."
Ken looked up from his taped nose and laughed quietly. "Yeah. I went through three boxes of band-aids this month, but it was totally worth it."
"I broke my favorite boots," Goro added, holding the ice pack to his neck. "But flipping cars is incredibly fun."
Gulp. Gulp.
Kaito took another drink of water and smiled at the group.

Location: U.A. Academy – Main Conference Room
Time: 10:00 AM
Flip. Flip. Flip.
Teachers from all three grade levels sat around the long oval table, flipping through thick printed packets.
Principal Nezu sat at the head of the table, sipping warm tea.
Shota Aizawa, Vlad King, Midnight, Snipe, Ectoplasm, All Might and others teachers and personell occupied the surrounding chairs.
A large digital board on the wall displayed the upcoming U.A. Sports Festival schedules.
"We are keeping the first-year obstacle course standard," Aizawa said, rubbing his tired eyes. "Minefields, pitfalls, and the zero-point robots. We need to see how the new kids handle basic stress."
Vlad King nodded across the table. "Agreed. Class B needs a wall to hit. We don't need any extra gimmicks for the freshmen."
Snipe leaned back in his chair and adjusted his cowboy hat.
"That's fine for the rookies," Snipe spoke up. "But we have a serious problem with the second-year stages. Those zero-point robots are completely useless against my class."
Ectoplasm crossed his arms. "Snipe is right. Togata will just phase right through the robots. Amajiki will eat the metal and use it as armor. And Hado will fly completely over the entire course in ten seconds."
Midnight laughed loudly. "Those three are absolute monsters this year. I wonder how their internship with Nighteye changed them."
"They are operating at a pro level already. As far as I know they joined the one week internships last year when Kaito contracted Nighteye." Snipe replied. "If we put them in the standard arena, the broadcast will be incredibly boring. They will clear it before the cameras even focus on them."
"That make sense." Vlad King replied.
Nezu set his teacup down on the saucer.
CLINK.
"A very valid concern," Nezu smiled brightly. "I will authorize a massive difficulty spike and a heavy budget increase for the second-year hazards. Get with Power Loader and make the obstacles tough enough to actually challenge them."
Snipe grinned under his mask. "Perfect. I'll crank the robots up to max."
Nezu clapped his small paws together.
SMACK.
"Then the schedules are finalized," Nezu announced. "Thank you all for your time today. Let's make this upcoming festival a good one."
Skrrt.
Slid.
Chairs scraped loudly against the floor.
The teachers gathered their files and walked out of the room, talking casually about patrol shifts and lunch plans.
The heavy wooden door closed.
CLICK.
"..."
All Might and Nezu were the only ones left at the table.
All Might reached up and rubbed the back of his neck. He looked incredibly serious.
Nezu poured himself another cup of tea.
"What is on your mind, Yagi?" Nezu asked casually.
All Might cleared his throat.
"Ahem..." All Might said. "It is about young Midoriya."
Nezu perked up. His small animal ears twitched forward.
"Ah," Nezu smiled. "Securing an apprenticeship with David Shield is a massive opportunity for him."
"Izuku deserves it," All Might said softly. "I specifically told Mirai, that whatever he wanted. I can support him to the best of my abilities."
"A few thousand is a very solid prototype," Nezu nodded. "The boy has a brilliant head on his shoulders. After all he was your chosen successor."
"Hahaha... But his final design requires millions of them," All Might continued, looking directly at the principal. "Nighteye explained the U.A. Costume Request Form to him. His development plan requires millions of microbots made with high-grade titanium and custom processors. Though, Mirai hid the truth from him."
Nezu stayed perfectly quiet.
"Yagi," Nezu said slowly. "U.A. has a massive budget for our students. We cover a lot of expensive gear. But a swarm of millions of custom titanium processors? That borders on a national military expense. If the Support Course fulfills that single request, it will completely bankrupt the entire department for the rest of the year. Even if he is your chosen successor, I can't help you with that."
"I know," All Might nodded heavily. "That is why I stayed behind to talk to you privately."
RUSTLE.
All Might pulled out a sleek, black bank card.
He set it gently on the wooden table and pushed it toward the principal.
SLIDE.
Nezu looked down at the card.
"I have decades of merchandising revenue, licensing fees, and billboard contracts sitting in my accounts," All Might stated quietly. "I want to anonymously funnel a massive chunk of my personal fortune directly into the U.A. Support Course budget."
Nezu's eyes widened.
"Use it specifically to cover young Midoriya's future requests," All Might requested. "Do whatever accounting tricks you need to do to hide the paper trail. Just make sure the boy gets exactly what he needs to build his tech. I don't want the school taking a financial hit because of him."
Nezu stared at him.
He saw the absolute dedication in All Might's sunken blue eyes.
The boy explicitly refused the Quirk, One for All, so he could forge his own path.
But All Might still viewed Izuku as his true successor.
He was fully willing to use his own bank accounts just to give the Quirkless kid a flawless path to the top.
Nezu reached out and picked up the black card. He slipped it into his small vest pocket.
"I will handle the paperwork personally, Yagi," Nezu promised warmly. "We still have to wait next year."
All Might let out a massive sigh of relief. He slumped back in his chair, the tension leaving his shoulders.
"Thank you, Nezu," All Might whispered.

Location: Mountainous Forest – Outskirts of Tokyo
Time: 02:00 PM
Step. Step. Step.
Gigantomachia walked through the thick trees. His massive boots crushed the pine branches and kicked up the dirt.
He held a man by the back of his jacket.
The man dangled fifty feet in the air. His name was Rukoro.
He worked as a warehouse clerk in the city. Dr. Garaki gave Machia a very clear order: find anyone with space or time related Quirks. A pro hero or not.
Rukoro had a weak quirk called Item Swap. He could trade the locations of two small objects if they were close to each other.
It was just an everyday utility Quirk. But Machia didn't care about how strong it was. He was just checking off the doctor's list.
"Please!" Rukoro cried, kicking his legs in the air. "I don't have any money! Put me down! You have the wrong guy!"
Machia completely ignored him. He kept walking.
Machia wore a thick steel chain around his massive neck. A heavy, durable tape recorder hung from the chain, resting on his chest.
CLICK.
[Stay calm. Follow the doctor's orders.]
The deep, smooth voice of All For One played from the small speakers. It was on a continuous loop.
HUFF.
Machia took a deep breath. His eyes drooped slightly.
"Yes, Master," Machia muttered to the machine. "Following orders. Finding the Quirks for the doctor."
Last time he saw All For One was before the global raid. The voice recorder was managed by Dr. Garaki.
It kept him focused. It stopped him from thinking about the past years, he didn't saw All for One.
Rukoro looked down at the massive drop. He realized this giant monster was actually taking him somewhere.
He needed to escape right now.
Rukoro looked at Machia's thick thumb gripping his jacket.
Then, he looked down at a heavy, loose rock sitting on the dirt path below.
He came up with a plan. He would use his Quirk to swap the rock with the giant's thumb.
The grip would break, and Rukoro would fall into the pine trees to hide.
"Hey! Giant!" Rukoro yelled, trying to distract him. "Look at me!"
Machia didn't look. He just kept walking and listening to the tape recorder.
Rukoro raised his shaking hands. He aimed his fingers right at Machia's thick thumb. He charged his Quirk.
He was terrified. His arms shivered violently. Right as he activated his Quirk, his aim slipped.
VWOOP.
But.
He completely missed the thumb. The Quirk hit the heavy tape recorder on Machia's chest instead.
The two items swapped instantly.
The heavy rock appeared in the air right in front of Machia's chest. It fell straight down.
The tape recorder teleported directly to the dirt path below.
CRUNCH.
The falling rock smashed directly on top of the tape recorder.
The audio cut off instantly.
"..." Rukoro.
"..." Machia stopped walking.
His foot hovered over the dirt, then slowly stepped down.
He didn't yell. He just opened his hand.
Thud.
Rukoro dropped.
Rukoro scrambled to his feet, holding his bruised ribs, and ran away into the trees as fast as he could.
Machia didn't chase him.
He slowly brought his massive hands to his chest. He felt the empty steel chain.
He looked down.
The machine was broken. The voice was gone.
Machia grabbed the sides of his head with both hands.
Huff-puff.
Huff-puff.
He breathed in heavily. His chest heaved up and down. He was completely alone.
"MASTER!"
Machia screamed loudly.
The sound shook the trees and rattled the ground.
He abandoned Garaki's orders. He dropped down onto all fours, digging his thick fingers into the dirt.
SWIIISH.
He charged blindly straight through the forest, heading directly toward the Tokyo suburbs to find All For One.

Location: Shishido's Agency
Time: 02:30 PM
WEE-WOO. WEE-WOO.
Red alert lights flashed across the ceiling.
Logistics typed wildly on his keyboard. He stared directly at the main computer monitor.
"Boss! Manager!" He yelled over the alarms. "The Hero Public Security Commission just issued a disaster alert!"
Shishido walked into the room. He cracked his knuckles. "Where?"
"Western suburbs," Satoshi answered quickly.
He brought up a live helicopter camera feed on the big screen. "A massive mutant villain just leveled the mountain checkpoint. He is heading straight into the residential zone."
'Hmm?' Kaito looked at the screen. He recognized the rock-skinned giant instantly.
"Shishido," Kaito said. "This target is highly durable. The local pros are already failing to stop him."
"I see it," Shishido grabbed his radio collar. "Everyone! Meet me at the front door in ten seconds. We are going right now."

Location: Western Suburbs
Time: 02:35 PM
BAAAM. CRASH. CRUMBLE.
The street was completely destroyed.
Gigantomachia walked through the intersection.
He crushed parked cars under his massive boots. Tears streamed down his rocky face.
"Master!" Machia cried loudly. "Master!"
Down on the street, the local mid-tier pros were struggling to hold him back.
"Grab his legs!" Death Arms yelled.
Death Arms lunged forward. He wrapped his thick arms around Machia's ankle, trying to stop his forward momentum.
Machia didn't even look down. He just swung his foot forward.
WHAM.
"DAMN!" Death Arms flew backward. He crashed right through a brick wall and slumped into the rubble.
Fourth Kind ran in front of the giant. He crossed his four arms together, creating a solid defensive guard to block the path.
Machia swatted his massive hand sideways.
CRACK.
The heavy kinetic force shattered Fourth Kind's guard instantly.
BAM.
The pro hero spun in the air and hit the pavement hard, totally unconscious.
SWISH.
Slidin' Go skated across the asphalt. He tried to trip the giant. Machia simply stepped right over him, completely ignoring the attack.
"It's no use!" Slidin' Go panicked, backing away from the giant. "He is too big!"
SKRRRT.
A black agency van slammed on the brakes at the end of the block.
Shishido jumped out. Ken, Goro, and Kuma ran right behind him.
They saw the giant crying and destroying the buildings.
"Ken, Goro, get the injured pros out of here!" Shishido ordered loudly. "Kuma, evacuate the civilians in those storefronts! Move!"
The sidekicks scattered instantly, pulling the fallen heroes away from the rubble.
"What the hell is wrong with this guy?!" Shishido stepped directly into the middle of the street.
He locked eyes with the crying giant.
HUUFF.
He dropped his hips. He took a massive breath, compressing the air deep in his lungs.
"ROOOOOAAAAAR!"
Beast King: Roaring Cannon.
A tight, concentrated beam of pure sonic pressure blasted forward.
BAM.
The soundwave hit Machia right in the face.
The giant stumbled backward. He shook his heavy head, looking completely dizzy for a second.
"Hnn?" Machia looked down. He saw the lion hero. He got incredibly angry.
Swish.
Machia raised both of his massive fists and slammed them down toward the street.
BAAM.
Shishido dodged to the side. The concrete shattered exactly where he just stood.
Swoosh.
Shishido didn't back off. He rushed in. He aimed at Machia's thick ankles. He activated his continuous arm-cycling training.
SWISH. SWISH. SWISH.
Beast King: Flurry.
Twenty independent claw strikes tore into the rocky skin in a single second. Massive sprays of blood hit the asphalt.
Splurt. Splurt.
"Aagh!"
Machia yelled in pain. He kicked wildly.
Swiish.
"This guy is massive." Shishido jumped back to avoid the heavy kick. His technique worked perfectly.
He could cut the skin. But the giant was simply too tall. Shishido couldn't reach his head for a knockout blow.
[Hold your ground, Shishido,] Kaito's voice came through the earpiece. [Heavy support is dropping in from Shibuya.]
A massive shadow covered the intersection.
Machia looked up.
FWOOSH.
Mt. Lady grew to twenty-two meters in mid-air.
She wore her sleek combat suit and the silver Detnerat-Shield gauntlets on her wrists.
Thud.
She landed directly in the middle of the street.
"Mt. Lady is here~!"
She dropped her hips perfectly and widened her stance and anchored her giant boots flat on the ground.
SWOOSH.
Machia charged right at her. He threw a wild, heavy punch at her face.
"No you don't."
Mt. Lady stepped inside Machia's guard. She raised her arms and blocked the punch, sliding her hands down his thick wrist.
Thwip.
She gripped his arm tightly. She pivoted her hips and used Machia's own forward momentum against him.
"Going down!" Yu yelled.
BAAAM.
She dragged the crying giant forward and slammed him down onto the asphalt.
She locked his arm under her armpit, securing a heavy joint lock.
THUD. BAM.
"AAGH!!" Machia thrashed wildly on the ground. He tried to lift his upper body to break the hold.
Yu aimed her right wrist directly at his thick shoulder.
ZAAAAP.
A concentrated photon laser fired point-blank from the glowing blue Arc Reactor gauntlet.
The laser burned straight through the rocky skin.
"AAHH!" Machia screamed.
"Shishido! Now!" Yu yelled down at the street.
"No need to tell me."
Shishido crouched low. He loaded his feline tendons with maximum tension.
FWOOP.
He launched himself silently into the air. He soared up and landed directly on Mt. Lady's giant shoulder.
Swoosh.
He crouched again and pushed off her shoulder, launching himself straight toward Machia's face.
Shishido pulled his right arm back. He focused all his physical power into the tiny surface area of his claw tips.
"Beast King: Piercing Fang!"
STAB.
He drove his claws directly into the thick nerve cluster on the side of Machia's neck.
"..."
Machia's eyes rolled into the back of his head.
Thud.
The giant went completely limp. He slumped against the pavement, totally unconscious.
"..."
"..."
The street went quiet for three seconds.
Then, the civilians hiding inside the corner stores erupted.
"They took him down!"
"Mt. Lady and Shishido actually did it!"
People rushed out of the buildings, cheering loudly.
Flash. Flash. Flash.
Camera flashes lit up the street.
The damage to the surrounding buildings was completely contained to the center intersection.
FWOOSH.
Yu shrank back down to her normal human size.
She landed gracefully on the street and wiped the sweat from her forehead.
Shishido landed next to her.
"Good grapple," Shishido praised her, popping his knuckles. "You perfectly restrained him."
"Thanks," Yu smiled brightly, waving to the cheering crowd. "Your sonic roar attack softened him up."
Step. Step.
Footsteps approached them.
Kaito walked past the police barricades. He held his digital tablet.
"You both executed the plan flawlessly," Kaito said, looking at the two heroes. "Property damage is minimal. The media is already broadcasting the footage."
"Hey Kaito," Yu grinned, resting her hands on her hips. "See? I told you I could handle a giant mutant."
Shishido laughed loudly. "We make a pretty good team."
