Utusunagami is a type of land deity in the island nation.
There are usually two types of Utusunagami: one is the ancestor of the local residents, and the other is the guardian deity worshipped and sacrificed by the villagers.
However, with the advancement of science, people know more and more, and their understanding of deities and beliefs is naturally no longer pure.
The Utusunagami, once worshipped and respected by countless people, has now been abandoned by the villagers.
Many even attribute the village's poor development to the Utusunagami not protecting them.

Kento Nanami immediately reversed his grip on the blunt sword, spread his arms, and caught Yu Haibara's flying body.
If Yu Haibara had been allowed to fly out like that, he would have suffered secondary injuries from hitting the wall.
With Kento Nanami's cushioning, Yu Haibara finally landed steadily.
"Tha-thank you, Nanami."
Yu Haibara, blood at the corner of his mouth, looked at the Cursed Spirit.
"Haibara, we need to retreat."
Kento Nanami's voice trembled slightly.

Then, Kento Nanami swung his blunt sword with his right hand, meeting the Cursed Spirit Utusunagami's fist.
Clang, bang.
Kento Nanami's sword cut into the Cursed Spirit's fist but was also stuck by it.
The Cursed Spirit Utusunagami suddenly exerted force, and Kento Nanami was instantly sent flying.
'Haibara is almost out of the shrine, but to be safe, I should try to buy him a little more time.'
Glancing at the stumbling Yu Haibara escaping, Kento Nanami made a decision.
