[Accelerated Cracking Completed]
[Congratulations to the Host for unlocking the extraordinary power—'Magnetic Field Power']
With 2.7 billion units of pure magic power, it only took a tiny fraction to fill the cracking progress bar for the 'God-Slaying Magic of the Moon'.
But for the 'Magnetic Field Power', which originally required 97 years to crack, this nearly 2.7 billion units of pure magic power was just barely enough.
This made Hope feel even more grateful to Jellal.
If Jellal hadn't gone through all that trouble to create the 'R System' and convert 'Anima' into pure magic power, Hope wouldn't have known how long he would have to wait to unlock 'Magnetic Field Power'.
Silver-white moonlight magic rose from his body like tangible flames, while fine blue-white electric sparks jumped and flickered around him, making soft crackling sounds.
Two completely different powers were now continuously surging from Hope's body.
He looked at Makarov and Erza. "Master, Erza, take a rest for a while. Leave the upcoming battle to me."
Erza was somewhat hesitant. After all, both Jellal and Bluenote possessed combat strength at the level of the 'Ten Wizard Saints'. Even Makarov found them difficult to deal with; how could Hope possibly face them alone?
Makarov, however, nodded.
He could feel an unknown energy growing wildly inside Hope, its quality and quantity already far exceeding the scope of magic power.
It was a type of growing power that was far more tyrannical than magic power.
"Erza, rest assured and leave it to Hope. If he can't handle it, it won't be too late for us to take action."
Hearing even the Master say this, Erza could only choose to believe. "Hope, don't force yourself if you can't win. Master and I will definitely support you immediately."
Makarov's lips twitched upon hearing this. He hadn't forgotten Hope's villainous face when they encountered Madara earlier, shouting "everyone, attack together!"
Watching Hope walk forward while swaying his head, the smugness and pleasure previously on Jellal's face had long been replaced by boundless rage.
He had spent a full eight years planning the 'R System'. To see this magic crystal tower, which embodied countless efforts, become a gift for someone else at the final moment—how could he possibly maintain his sanity?
"You bastard!"
"What did you do?!"
Looking at the breaking Jellal, Hope shrugged. "Isn't it obvious? The magic power of this tower has been absorbed by me."
"Bastard! Give me back my magic power!"
Jellal clasped his hands, extended seven fingers, and roared as he activated his magic, "Seven Star Sword!"
In the blink of an eye, seven starlights lit up in the sequence of the Big Dipper, followed by seven magic pillars of light crashing down.
Makarov's eyes lit up as he watched. Jellal was actually using 'Heavenly Body Magic', a powerful magic capable of rivaling the destructive force of a meteorite.
Facing seven magical attacks with power equivalent to meteorite impacts, Hope neither dodged nor avoided them. He simply spread his hand, and a Magic Circle covering the top floor of the tower expanded above everyone's heads.
Suddenly, the sky turned as pitch black as night. The Magic Circle overhead was like the moon, shedding silver-white moonlight.
Under the illumination of the moonlight, those seven pillars of light were extinguished instantly, as if they had met their natural enemy.
"Impossible!"
Jellal's eyes widened. His full-power magic attack had been neutralized so easily. "What kind of magic is this?!"
"Guess?"
Hope naturally wouldn't voluntarily tell his enemy information about his magic, not even the name. However, the 'God-Slaying Magic of the Moon' did remind him of a certain magical girl's classic catchphrase.
In the name of the moon, I will punish you.
This phrase couldn't be more appropriate for the villainous Jellal.
"Jellal, as a black-hearted contractor who employs child labor, uses brainwashing pyramid schemes, and doesn't even pay wages, your crimes are simply too numerous to record."
"Today, I will punish you in the name of the moon!"
Hope's righteous display made Jellal's rage burn even hotter. Although what he said was the truth, this magic thief was being far too arrogant.
After eight years of hard work, to be knocked back to square one in an instant—who could endure that?
Jellal gnashed his teeth at Hope. "You bastard, to dare lay a finger on my things! Go to hell and regret what you've done!"
Jellal waved his hands, and countless starlight impacts were unleashed like sharp blades, whistling toward Hope from all directions.
Hope didn't move. The moon Magic Circle above him rotated on its own, and the moonlight transformed into ten sharp blades that fell, bouncing back and forth among the starlight attacks. After shattering the starlight, they shot toward Jellal.
The kinetic energy accumulated from each bounce caused the speed of the moonlight blades to soar to the extreme. Ten moonlight blades circled Jellal, surrounding him in layers and blocking all possible paths of escape.
"Paltry tricks! Meteor!" Jellal snorted coldly. Starlight glowed on his body as he transformed into a Meteor, instantly breaking through the layers of encirclement.
However, in the next instant.
The running Jellal suddenly felt a piercing pain all over his body, as if he were being pricked by needles simultaneously. This caused him to lose control of his body for a moment, and he stumbled and fell to the ground.
Lying on the ground, Jellal looked at the moon Magic Circle covering the top of the tower and then at the silver-white moonlight shining on him. He understood instantly.
From the very beginning, he had been locked on by the opponent's Magic Circle!
As long as he was within the range of the moon Magic Circle, Hope could launch precise strikes of varying degrees against him at any time and place. Moreover, the range of this Magic Circle was exceptionally large.
It was truly an unreasonable magic.
Jellal stood up. He had the ability to break the moon Magic Circle, but doing so would consume a lot of magic power. He then looked at Bluenote, who was standing not far away with his arms crossed. "How long are you going to keep watching the show!"
"You don't need to tell me."
Bluenote licked his lips, his eyes fixed only on Hope. "I really didn't expect to encounter a second person who has mastered God-Slaying Magic in my lifetime. However, that other guy's God-Slaying Magic was far worse than yours."
Hope was a bit surprised, but on second thought, it made sense.
After all, the world was so large; there must be others who had also inherited the legacy of God-Slaying Magic.
Bluenote revealed a ferocious smile that only appeared when he encountered a strong enemy. He slammed both palms downward. "I'm very interested in your magic, so die!"
"Gravity Ball: Multiplier!"
In an instant, with Hope at the center, the surrounding space underwent violent distortion. The terrifying gravity was increased dozens of times, causing the magic crystal floor beneath his feet to groan under the unbearable weight and begin to crack inch by inch.
Hope suddenly vanished and appeared in another position.
As long as he was within the moon Magic Circle, he could switch positions at any time, just like teleportation.
However, in the next second, the moon Magic Circle began to flicker rapidly, and its light dimmed significantly. This was a sign of insufficient magic power sustainability.
In less than ten seconds, under the astonished gazes of Bluenote, Jellal, and the spectating Makarov and Erza, the flickering moon Magic Circle simply went out.
Feeling his magic power hit rock bottom, Hope's face darkened.
He had just been having too much fun and completely failed to notice the consumption of magic power. No one told him that God-Slaying Magic would consume so much mana...
