Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Annihilation and Devourment! Alvida and Koby Beg for Mercy

"Hahaha!" Alvida, who had fired the shot, put one hand on her bucket-like waist and waved the still-smoking pistol with the other, laughing triumphantly. "A Fishman is nothing more than flesh and blood! What's there to be afraid of?"

The pirates were startled at first, then seeing their Captain had dealt with the enemy with a headshot, they all showed joy.

Yes, it didn't matter how a Fishman suddenly appeared behind them; what mattered was that a dead Fishman was a good Fishman!

They were about to cheer when they realized something strange was happening!

A cold chuckle was heard.

Davy Jones's blown-off head slowly and Wriggling healed itself, and the scattered bits of flesh on the deck returned to his still two-thirds-remaining head, like needle and thread!

He wiggled the slimy tentacles beneath his octopus head and said, half-jokingly, half-seriously:

"A good attempt, but bullets are useless against me."

Seeing this scene, Alvida and the pirates were all terrified!

In all their years of sailing the East Blue, their pirate crew had never seen a monster that could speak calmly after having its head blown off by a bullet, and whose head would spontaneously heal!

The female pirate Captain's heart was in turmoil, and a thought suddenly flashed through her mind.

Could he be a Devil Fruit User?

Just as they were lost in thought, the next moment, Davy Jones took a step forward, then vanished from his spot, instantly teleporting in front of Alvida!

"Ah!" Alvida was greatly startled and stumbled backward repeatedly.

Davy Jones swiftly extended a tentacle, snatched the pistol from her hand, and felt its still-warm barrel.

He tossed the pistol in his hand, then looked down at its construction, frowning, his mind racing.

I have never seen this style. If this were my original world, there couldn't be a pistol I haven't seen. It seems this really is another world.

Alvida retreated to the mast, still shaken, but seeing all the pirates hiding behind her, she shouted in exasperation:

"What are you waiting for? Go and kill him!"

Her intimidation made the pirates look at each other.

Fortunately, it still worked; they slowly moved closer, surrounding Davy Jones in the center.

By this time, Davy Jones's head had fully healed, looking exactly as it did when he first appeared, neither more nor less.

The pirates were all wary of this incredibly bizarre regeneration ability, but after discussing for a while, they thought, surely if they hacked this wack into a meat paste, he wouldn't be able to heal anymore, right?

As for the pistol Davy Jones had snatched, they weren't too afraid, because it couldn't fire continuously, and reloading bullets took time, and Davy Jones had neither bullets nor time.

The pirates exchanged glances, then all let out loud howls, trying to affect Davy Jones's judgment. They raised their weapons and charged at Davy Jones from different directions.

Who was Davy Jones?

He had experienced countless battles at sea, each one extremely perilous!

His enemies included the cunning and treacherous Nine Pirate Kings, well-equipped Marine fleets, and fierce and cruel deep-sea beasts. He didn't even bat an eye at the small skirmish before him.

Davy Jones kicked a pirate away with a raised leg, sending him tumbling into a pile of barrels, his lumbar spine likely broken.

Another pirate's sword struck his back, sinking in like it had plunged into a swampy mud, unable to be pulled out.

Davy Jones calmly turned around and used his left crab claw to snip off this pirate's head, blood spurting like a fountain from the pirate's body!

He then used the tentacles of his right hand to pull the sword from his back and used it to hack down other pirates.

This incredibly bizarre fighting style made even the pirates, who were accustomed to life and death, turn pale.

They remembered what Captain Alvida had said earlier, but everything before their eyes proved that this wack was extraordinary, not just ordinary flesh and blood!

Amidst the lightning, thunder, howling winds, and pouring rain, the pirate ship swayed precariously, but Davy Jones's legs seemed glued to the deck, incredibly steady.

He then took advantage of the pirates losing their balance, cutting them down one by one with a single stroke until the blade was even dulled, forcing him to discard it.

In a moment, half of the Alvida Pirates members had fallen, and the remaining half were in a panic.

Koby, who had long been terrified beyond measure, finally, at this moment, shouted what he had always wanted to shout:

"He's Vander Decken! That ship is the Flying Dutchman! The horror legend has arrived!"

The remaining pirates were all startled, remembering the terrifying story Koby had told them not long ago, and thinking of that dilapidated ship.

He is that Captain Vander Decken?

Does he want to drag us all to the bottom of the sea to drown?

Fear spread rapidly, and the pirates' morale visibly weakened.

Upon hearing "Flying Dutchman," Davy Jones couldn't help but look at Koby, scaring Koby into scrambling backward.

There's a Flying Dutchman here too?

Davy Jones seemed to have guessed where the lost Ruler of the Deep and Ocean Goddess powers were—they must be on that Flying Dutchman!

As long as he found that Flying Dutchman, he could once again transform into the Ruler of the Deep of this great sea, and even embark on the path to godhood!

Just then, with a "whoosh," a violent gust of wind sounded behind him.

Although Davy Jones could regenerate, he instinctively dodged the attack. He turned around and saw Alvida holding a huge Spiked Club.

Alvida held the Spiked Club with both hands, glaring at him fiercely.

Whoosh—

From beneath the sleeve of the expressionless Davy Jones, a slimy tentacle shot out, lunging towards Alvida!

Seeing the tentacle full of suckers, Alvida frantically swung her Spiked Club.

But the Spiked Club was easily snatched away by Davy Jones's tentacle, and with a snap, it was broken in half and thrown onto the deck!

Alvida, disarmed, her hands trembled.

Davy Jones's almost unassailable presence caused everyone on the ship to nearly collapse mentally.

Then, they heard a strange "creak, creak" sound, and looking up, they saw that black dilapidated ship had directly latched onto their pirate ship!

The next moment, their pirate ship began to gradually disintegrate, every plank flying towards the dilapidated ship, repairing the holes in its hull!

Creak—

To the astonishment of the pirates, in an instant, their pirate ship vanished into thin air, and they plunged directly into the sea!

Splash, splash—

The pirates sank into the turbulent waves, and before they could even open their eyes, they were pushed below the surface by the crashing waves.

Davy Jones merely extended a tentacle, grabbed Alvida and Koby, who were screaming in terror, and then leaped onto his Spectral Doom.

He threw Alvida and Koby onto the deck, then walked to the ship's rail, looking at the pirates struggling in the seawater.

Davy Jones knew he didn't need to do anything more.

In this vast sea, they had no planks to grab onto for flotation. Just swimming with their hands and feet, they would eventually become exhausted and sink to the bottom in despair.

He reaped this fear, undoubtedly earning a "spine-chilling" rating.

Davy Jones used half of the fear he reaped to awaken the Spectral Doom beneath his feet, causing its cannons to automatically emerge from the hull, their muzzles coldly pointing at the sea.

When not needed, the cannons would autonomously hide, completely out of sight.

At the same time, the overall speed of the Spectral Doom increased slightly.

As for the other half of the fear, he used it to strengthen himself.

Davy Jones's right hand could simultaneously extend two tentacles, and the regeneration speed of his entire body's wounds also accelerated.

As for the pistol he had just snatched from Alvida, he could also condense 1 bullet with fear, and after firing it, he had to stop to condense the 2nd one.

Theoretically, as long as there were people around him who feared him, his bullets would be infinite.

This was the harvest of his hunt this time.

Davy Jones turned around and saw the trembling Alvida and Koby, staring at him in terror, not daring to approach.

The next moment, Koby suddenly found courage, knelt down, slammed his head hard on the deck, and shouted loudly:

"Captain Vander Decken! Please, spare me! I'm not with them! I didn't do anything!"

Alvida narrowed her angry eyes, glared at Koby, but after seeing the tragic demise of her pirate crew, she hesitated for a moment, then also knelt on the ground, and in a rough voice, said:

"Captain Vander Decken, I am willing to submit to you, I only ask that you spare my life."
