Chapter 137 - Chapter 137 - The Bar Opens for Business

The next day.

After finishing his morning training, Ron André returned to the second floor and ran straight into the loli-version Yuna, who had just come downstairs from the third floor.

"Good morning, Prince Ron," Yuna greeted him timidly. She stopped where she was, small hands clutching the hem of her clothes, head slightly lowered as she spoke softly.

The corner of Ron's mouth twitched. Ignoring her innocent, wide-eyed act, he walked straight toward the bathroom.

"Morning."

At that moment, the guest room door opened. Nora, who had just woken up, stumbled out groggily. She scratched her messy purple hair, eyes half-closed, looking like a dazed little animal.

"Boss!"

Seeing Ron's sweat-soaked figure, Nora instantly shook off her sleepiness. She greeted him instinctively—then suddenly remembered that she had slept in Ron's Wonderful Flower Shop last night.

"Ah!"

Nora hugged her messy purple hair. The thought of the Boss seeing her right after waking up, looking so disheveled, made her feel unbearably embarrassed.

"I'm covered in sweat. I'm commandeering the bathroom for now," Ron said. He had originally planned to rub Nora's head, but noticing his sweaty palms, he immediately pulled his hand back and turned into the bathroom.

"Mm-hm! I'll just use the upstairs bathroom then."

Nora greeted Yuna in the living room and jogged upstairs to the third floor.

Half an hour later, Ron, Nora, Sylvie, and Yuna sat around the living room table, quietly enjoying breakfast.

"Prince Ron," Sylvie said after swallowing the last bite of her food and wiping her mouth neatly with a napkin, "the second batch of nuns should begin arriving in the City of Chaos this afternoon."

"Send them directly to the prayer house on the outskirts," Ron replied. "Have the first group of nuns personally teach them what they need to do. I'll go over the detailed arrangements when I head there this afternoon."

"I understand."

Since the incoming nuns were all aunties two or three generations older than him, Ron honestly couldn't muster much enthusiasm.

What he couldn't forget, however, was his agreement with Illya yesterday to have her help inscribe alert-type magic arrays. When he went out this afternoon, he would need to stop by the Chaos City Magic Academy to pick her up first.

Yuna, seated diagonally across from Ron, had also finished breakfast.

She neatly stacked the dishes on the table, placed her small hands on her knees, and sat properly. Lowering her head slightly, she asked in a soft voice:

"Prince Ron, is the Tabletop-Themed Tavern next door opening today? What should I do?"

After witnessing her mature version the night before, Ron found himself feeling awkward no matter how he looked at Yuna now.

But with Nora and Sylvie present, he couldn't exactly react openly.

With all four of them together, he even had to cooperate with Yuna's acting—it felt oddly like an illicit affair.

"In a bit, I'll give you a list," Ron said. "Have the patrol team accompany you to buy everything on it."

"Set everything up in the shop this morning, and we can officially open in the afternoon."

"Mm-hm." Yuna nodded seriously.

After breakfast, Nora got up to clear the table, and Yuna sensibly stepped forward to help.

One at one-point-five meters and the other at one-point-six shuttled back and forth between the dining table and the kitchen, while the one-point-seven-meter-tall Sister Sylvie sat quietly on the sofa, performing her usual morning prayer.

Ron returned to the study, took out the list of items he had written over the past few days for the tavern, added a few more things, and handed it to Yuna.

After instructing the patrol guards stationed beside the flower shop, Ron sent Yuna out to make the purchases.

Free labor that walked right up to his door shouldn't be wasted—if it could be exploited, it should be exploited.

As Yuna stepped out of the shop, at an angle Nora couldn't see, she made a face at Ron, stuck out her tongue, and silently mouthed a few words:

"Big. Pervert."

Ron shook his head and ignored her. Returning inside, he rubbed Nora's head and said with a smile, "Don't forget to write your reading reflections."

"Mm-hm."

Nora hugged the chibi Ron doll and nodded obediently.

Ron projected his consciousness into the doll, enjoying the feeling of being held against a girl's chest, while walking back into the study to glance over the documents Guy had submitted.

Then he pulled a book titled Time Management Master from the shelf and began reading.

By the time Yuna returned with the patrol team, Ron heard the commotion, put the book away, and leisurely went downstairs—only to see several patrol soldiers carrying and hauling large quantities of supplies.

There were even a few carriages behind them.

In contrast, Yuna looked completely relaxed, holding only two light bags, with nothing else in her hands.

"Th-thank you so much… th-thank you…"

Standing at the tavern entrance, Yuna bowed shyly, her voice so soft it made people instinctively feel protective.

Ron rubbed his forehead helplessly.

This wasn't exploiting the spy's labor at all…

If these first- or second-tier soldiers knew that the tiny loli in front of them was actually a sixth-tier assassin, what would their expressions be like?

"Move the wine barrels into the cellar. Put the other supplies into the storage room. Decorations go in the hall. The rest is Yuna's responsibility," Ron ordered.

"Yes!"

After carrying everything inside, the patrol team departed.

"You'll organize the shop yourself," Ron said, glancing at Yuna.

"All the rooms on the second floor are tabletop game rooms, rented out to customers."

"There are Element Cards and Legendary Kill inside. Nora already organized them—you just need to clean."

"The first floor is the bar. Everything you bought earlier is for customer service."

"That includes regular ale, various spirits, and some snacks that don't spoil easily."

"That's all for now. We'll improve things gradually."

"When you're watching the shop, don't try to slack off. This place doesn't welcome that."

"Got it," Yuna replied impatiently, plopping down on a stool in the hall. Then she asked curiously, "But what are Element Cards and Legendary Kill?"

"Too lazy to explain. Go ask Nora yourself," Ron said as he walked out of the tavern. "Hurry up and finish organizing—maybe we can even open this morning."

"Tch. Damn evil nobles," Yuna muttered.

Back in the study, Ron held the two reading reflections Nora had written that morning—each a thousand words long—and felt conflicted.

It made him reflect deeply.

Was writing reading reflections… really that enjoyable?

Ron shook his head hard, banishing the terrifying thought.

A little after ten in the morning, the system notification sounded in Ron's mind.

[Daily Task] — [Renovate the Barbecue Restaurant Again]

[System: "Congratulations, host. Task completed. Rewards have been stored in the [Backpack]."]

Ron checked the system panel and realized that the tavern next door must already be tidied up.

This daily task—thanks to the system's recent… eccentricity—provided a new plant called Heartvine.

Ron opened the [Backpack] and absorbed [Heartvine Cultivation Method].

A streak of green light entered Ron's head. After absorbing it, he opened [Heartvine Seeds] to check the description.
