Si Ye was sitting on the sofa reading when a sweet voice came from the doorway.
"Ah Ye, I'm home!"
Si Ye tossed aside what he was doing, vaulted off the sofa, and saw Sang Luo holding several bags, big and small. He helped her take them and set them on the table. "What did you buy? Why didn't you tell me beforehand? I would've driven down to pick you up."
"I bought them on the way back. They weren't that heavy, so I just carried them myself." Sang Luo steadied herself against the door as she changed into her slippers, then looked around the room, a little disappointed. "Is Ah Yuan not home?"
"Yeah, he went out for something and isn't back yet. Did you buy all this for him?"
"A gift for him." Sang Luo sighed.
Fei Yuan didn't say much when he left that day, but she knew he must have been feeling terrible.
He had spent all these years looking for her, crossing who knows how many dimensions and waiting for so long, just to finally see her again.
