A few girls were blushing as they debated visiting Professor Iyar's office. An idea struck Sang Luo, so she struck up a conversation and went with them. When they arrived, a teaching assistant stopped them. He explained that Professor Iyar was busy but said they could ask him if they had any questions.
The girls, disappointed, asked a few questions and then left.
After wandering around for a bit, Sang Luo doubled back and knocked on the office door.
"Come in."
A gentle voice soon came from inside.
Sang Luo pushed the door open and entered. The office was spacious, with a floor-to-ceiling window, but the room was dark because the curtains were drawn.
'It's late autumn, so the sun outside isn't even harsh. Why are the curtains drawn in the middle of the day?'
Sang Luo was puzzled but didn't voice her question. She looked at the man sitting and working at the desk.
