Si Ye's heart ached with a bittersweet pang again. He took the small swaddled bundle from her arms, glanced at it, and placed it on the small wooden bed nearby. Then, he brought over a basin of warm water, dampened a clean towel, and wiped the thin layer of sweat from her face and neck. He reached out and loosened her collar a bit. "Luoluo, let me wipe you down."
After giving birth, Sang Luo had used Water Magic to cleanse all the stains and blood from her body. But after lying in bed for a while, she was slowly getting soaked in a cold sweat again.
Si Ye's eyes were full of concern. Sang Luo didn't refuse, letting him unfasten her clothes and wipe her down. She immediately felt much more refreshed.
