"It's too stuffy in this cave," An Jin said, glancing toward the entrance. "I want to go out for a walk."
"No! You can't!"
The man roared hysterically. His previously docile expression twisted into something terrifying, his eyes blazing with a crazed fury. "You don't love me! You want to run away! I won't let you escape! You can only be mine!"
'Weren't they supposed to be as meek as a lamb? The system's product description was a complete lie.'
Seeing him glaring at her like a madman, his eyes bloodshot and crazed, An Jin pushed herself up against the wall and slowly got to her feet. She didn't press the issue of going outside.
The silence in the air was terrifying. Chi's ragged, suppressed breathing was clearly audible.
After a long moment, she pursed her lips and said softly, "I'm hungry. Can you go find something for me to eat? I won't run away."
