The Beastmen, with their sharp claws and immense strength, quickly worked together to chop down the older bamboo stalks.
A great deal of dust billowed through the forest as a dozen or so bamboo stalks fell, now lying across an open clearing.
In the Beast World, bamboo was considered no different from inedible weeds. It had never been harvested by the Carnivorous Beastmen and was left to grow untamed in the jungle.
Each stalk was decades old. Some even towered over ten meters high, with more than twenty sections!
Following An Jin's instructions, the burly Beastmen squatted on the ground. Using their long claws, they stripped all the lush branches and leaves from the felled bamboo, leaving only the straight, slender trunks.
"It's hollow!" one of the Beastmen exclaimed, having accidentally sliced through a section of a bamboo trunk with his claw. He saw that the inside was empty, like a bowl.
A yellowish-green liquid even trickled out.
It had a faint, fresh scent.
