Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Rasengan, Daimyo

After leaving the office, Mu had no intention of resting or sleeping.

Mu was almost thirty!

How could he possibly sleep?!

Although his strength had reached its limit, he could make himself more versatile by learning more Ninjutsu.

Even though Mu had been tired all day, he still had to work hard on his training!

He arrived at a secret cave in the mountains behind Iwagakure.

"Unto… Tiger… Unto… Horse… Ox… Unto…"

As Mu quickly formed a series of hand signs and then slammed his hand on the ground, the walls of the cave began to vibrate, and then a small door slowly opened.

Mu walked straight in.

The cave was a world unto itself, filled with many books and a large number of scrolls.

This was his laboratory for creating Ninjutsu.

A few years ago, his proud Dust Release was born from this very place.

"I have to say, the Second Kage of each Village are all inventive geniuses!"

Mu thought of the Second Kage of each Village from the story.

The Second Kazekage Shamon, the Second Raikage, the Second Hokage Senju Tobirama, and that guy Hōzuki Gengetsu, were all inventive geniuses.

Shamon invented Puppet Ninjutsu and Sand Control techniques.

The Second Raikage invented the Lightning Release Chakra Mode.

There's no need to mention the various forbidden Ninjutsu of Senju Tobirama.

He himself invented Dust Release, a Ninjutsu that required extreme precision.

That guy Hōzuki Gengetsu was also good, perfectly combining Genjutsu and Water Release.

Mu took out the wood created by Senju Hashirama and placed it into his container.

"With my current ability, I'm afraid I can't complete the research on Hashirama's cells alone. This will have to be put aside for now…"

Mu remained silent, then immediately began to conceive of a new Ninjutsu.

He remembered that in that cluster of memories, there was a very useful Ninjutsu, used by a junior named Naruto.

Its name was Rasengan!

"I should be able to try this Ninjutsu."

Mu was already skilled at Chakra control and had developed Dust Release.

The difficulty of Dust Release was much greater than Rasengan.

Mu could naturally learn an A-rank Ninjutsu like Rasengan with ease.

"It seems to be a Ninjutsu created by Minato Namikaze based on the Tailed Beast Ball."

Mu knew the principle, understood the process, and was even more proficient in Chakra control.

A few hours later, Mu had already mastered Rasengan.

With a thought, a buzzing sound filled the air!

A rapidly rotating Rasengan appeared in Mu's palm.

"It's not difficult. Next, I'll try to incorporate the Wind Release nature transformation."

Mu looked at the rotating Rasengan in his hand.

The next second, the unique green color of the Wind Release appeared.

After just a few experiments, Mu learned to use Wind Release Rasengan.

"Not bad. If I add a shape transformation, it will be Wind Release: Rasengan!"

A hint of pride flashed in Mu's eyes.

He tried to add a shape transformation to the Rasengan in his hand.

Soon, a small Rasengan appeared!

"That's all there is to it. To go a step further, that would be Sage Art…"

Right now, it was Wind Release: Rasengan.

If Sage Art was added, Wind Release: Rasengan could explode after being thrown directly.

"It's a pity I don't know Sage Art…"

A dim light flashed in Mu's eyes; he did not know Sage Art.

If he acquired Sage Art, with his talent, he could advance further and step into a new threshold.

Even his Dust Release might progress further!

But this was just wishful thinking.

He hadn't encountered any Sage Art opportunities yet.

Let alone the Three Great Sage Regions, he hadn't even found a summonable animal to contract with yet.

Hōzuki Gengetsu at least had a clam.

He had nothing; the Stone Golem could only be considered Ninjutsu.

"Then can I create Sage Art myself?"

Mu quickly dismissed this idea.

That was too impossible. If he had that kind of strength, he could completely abandon being a Ninja and start his own faction.

After learning Rasengan, Mu began to study the Shadow Clone created by Senju Tobirama.

This was simple; it only required one hand sign.

However, after Mu learned it, he felt it was a bit useless.

This Shadow Clone felt inferior to his own fission body.

"Forget it, too much to chew on."

Mu lay on the bed in the laboratory and fell into a deep sleep.

He slept until noon the next day before groggily waking up.

He flew back to the Tsuchikage Building and found that the officials of Iwagakure were anxiously waiting for him.

"Everyone, what's wrong?" Mu asked as he slowly sat down in the Tsuchikage's seat.

"Mu, we have seen your previous proposal, and it is indeed perfect."

"But the problem is, we Iwagakure simply don't have enough people. The Ninja School needs teachers, the Anbu needs members, we need to arrange people to maintain the Village, and we need to arrange some people to do missions to maintain the Village's funds."

An Iwagakure official stepped forward and spoke first, affirming Mu's idea before pointing out the shortcomings.

Mu frowned slightly and thought carefully.

It seemed he had indeed overlooked something. Iwagakure was in its initial stages of establishment and was severely lacking in manpower. He had taken too big a step.

Konoha was able to establish itself quickly because it had a large population and its geographical location was superior, facilitating trade.

"How about this, let's prioritize establishing commerce first."

"You build me two commercial streets, and I'll go to the Daimyo to attract investment and see if we can get some industries to set up here in Iwagakure."

Mu quickly formulated a plan after a moment of thought.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"As for the shortage of personnel… I'll go discuss it with Lord Tsuchikage Ishikawa this afternoon to see if we can relax immigration policies. There are still many wandering Ninja clans in various places, and we might be able to take them in at Iwagakure."

Mu put forward this plan.

Everyone nodded again.

Afterward, Mu went to Lord Tsuchikage Ishikawa's residence. After a brief discussion, Lord Ishikawa said, "I am old now. Iwagakure will be yours sooner or later. You can make these decisions directly; you don't need to consult me."

His words implied that although Mu did not yet have the title of Tsuchikage, he had the authority of one, so he should act boldly!

In the afternoon, Mu left a fission body to handle political affairs.

His main body went alone to the Daimyo's residence in the capital of the Land of Earth.

The Daimyo's residence was a magnificent, solemn, and imposing mansion, showcasing the noble status and supreme power of the Daimyo of the Land of Earth.

Led by a servant, Mu passed through a series of vermilion gates and walked along winding corridors, finally arriving at the Daimyo's backyard.

Deep within the mansion, Mu saw an exquisite covered pavilion spanning across a pond. The pillars and railings of the pavilion were carved with intricate patterns, demonstrating the superb skill of the craftsmen.

Following the covered pavilion, Mu arrived at the pond's edge.

Here, an ancient, rustic pavilion stood quietly, blending in with its surroundings. The pavilion's roof was covered with thick thatch, giving it a natural, simple feel.

Inside the pavilion, a pot-bellied, extremely obese man sat leisurely.

He wore a white divine robe with wide sleeves that swayed in the wind, as if his entire being was enveloped in a white cloud.

On his head, he wore a tall black hat adorned with magnificent, sparkling jewels.

At this moment, the Daimyo held a long fishing rod, his face relaxed as he fished in the pond.

His other hand held a folding fan, which he occasionally fanned a few times, seemingly enjoying the moment of peace and comfort.
