Hello everyone, how has it been? Sorry, I haven't posted in a while, it's not that I had a writing block or anything, I just got lazy when it comes to this
-in the Stadium 5 min after Cyrus VS Clair-
Cyrus walks into the league spectator box to see all of his fellow members sweating
Cyrus: Sorry guys I didn't know it would reach you but I can help
Cyrus releases a small white fox and it does a weak ice wind
All the members sigh relief for a second but then realize who and what commanded that icy wind
Lance: what Pokémon is that?
Cyrus: It's a regional variant of vulpix, it's an ice type. Her name is Eira
Lorelei: She's so cute, but why is it a Ice type, you're a Fire type trainer?
Cyrus: I figure if I were to move forward in any way, I should expand beyond Fire types, and it will start with ice due to it being the opposite of what I've trained so far, but eventually I will have at least a few Pokémon that aren't fire types.
Lance nods in agreement because he himself has multiple non-dragon-type Pokémon
Lance: It's our time, Pryce. Let's give them a show
Lance walks out of the room, heading down into the arena with Pryce following
Cyrus sits down where Lance was with Eira on his lap
Agatha: your that confident that Lance is gonna win that you take his seat in the Elite 4
Cyrus just nods and stares into the battlefield
Cyrus: he will win no matter what Pryce has because he is hungry for the position of champion, and hungry people will do anything to get food, and Pryce is all out of juice for a while now, so Lance's win is guaranteed
Agatha: couldn't have said it better myself, Cyrus

Announcer: This is the battle for the ages, it's Champion Pryce VS The Elite 4 Lance, so please get ready for a fight. Contestants, please send out your first Pokémon
Lance sends out his Charizard, and Pryce sends out his Glalie
In the Elite 4/ Champion Box
Cyrus: Ah yes Lance the flying type elite 4
Agatha Crackles and Lorelei Sighs
Lorelei: I just noticed that most of his team is flying types
Cyrus: Yeah, beyond his 2 Dragonite and his Kingdra
Back on the battlefield
Lance: Charizard use Fire Spin
Charizard's flame burns brighter, and Glalie is surrounded by fire and will be done a bit of damage for the next few minutes
Pryce: Glalie use Icicle Crash and then follow up with Hail
Icicle manifests above Charizard, and Charizard tries to weave through them, but is hit head-on by one of them, knocking him to the ground, and soon after, a Snowstorm follows, covering the battlefield
Lance thinks: he set up Snow to boost his ice types' physical defense and or the abilities of his Pokémon, such as Ice Body, Slush Rush, and Snow Cloak
Lance: Charizard use Fire Blast
Charizard stands up and fires the move straight at Glalie, but unfortunately, Glalie is slow and takes the whole thing before it can even register what happened
Announcer: Glalie is down. Champion Pryce, please send out your next Pokémon
Pryce sends out Weavile
Pryce: Weavile use Ice Shard, then follow up with Night Slash
Weavile fires off an Ice Shard, and Charizard slams down into the ground of its own free will, but is hit anyway, and Weavile moves in fast for a Night Slash, but when it gets close to Charizard, the ground is disrupted and shattered, causing it to trip and fall
Lance smirks
Lance: Charizard Flamethrower full power
Charizard's Blaze activates, and Flamethrower is fired, but it looks like the sun decided to visit Earth, and Weavile goes down without much of a hassle
Announcer: Weavile is down. Champion Pryce, please send out your next Pokémon!
Lance: Charizard return
Charizard is returned to his Poké Ball
Announcer: Lance has returned his Charizard. It is now 1-2
Pryce releases his Jynx, and Lance releases one of his Dragonites, and it's not Emperor
Pryce: Jynx set up Aurora Veil, then use Blizzard
Jynx uses Aurora Veil, which halves all attacking moves by 1/2 when snow is up, but when it is not, it doesn't work
Lance: Dragonite use Dragon Dance, then Fire Punch
Dragonite uses Dragon Dance, but is then hit by the blizzard used by Jynx, but tanks the attack and rushes forward and hits Jynx at full power+
Jynx is knocked out even though the attack was half, but with a super-effective move plus an attack boost it is done for
Pryce growls in annoyance
Announcer: Score is 1/3 with Lance showing no sign of slowing down so Champion Pryce please send out your 4th Pokemon
Pryce sends out his Walrein
Lance: Now this is where the real battle begins
(in the Elite 4 box)
Cyrus: Welp, Pryce is done for. I called it
Agatha: Yeah, but his Walrein should take down Dragonite, it's his strongest Pokémon nowadays because for some reason he refuses to evolve his Piloswine into a Mamoswine.
Cyrus: You're right, especially with the Aurora veil up, it will be a Tank of a Pokémon, but Lance has shown he can use work around it with stat boosting moves
Lorelei: but I have a feeling Pryce isn't done yet
(Back to the battlefield)
Lance: Dragonite use Dragon Dance, then Thunder Punch
Pryce: Walrein use full power, Blizzard
Dragonite uses Dragon Dance to boost its speed to 2x and attack to 2x, but is then hit with Blizzard and is sent flying, but gets back and speed blitzes Walrein and uses Thunder Punch, causing severe damage, and since Dragonite is close to Walrein, Walrein uses Ice Fang, and it freezes Dragonite and knocks it out
Announcer: Dragonite is down. Elite 4 Lance, please choose your next Pokémon, and it's 2/3
Lance: Come out, my partner, my friend, Emperor the Dragonite
(in the Elite 4 box)
Cyrus: He got bored really fast
Lorelei: Why do you say that? Shouldn't it be respect for my uncle that Lance is sending his Ace?
Cyrus: The only time I saw him use Emperor in the history of being an Elite 4 member was his induction match, and that was 7 years ago, and ever since then, Emperor has not been seen in an official Pokémon battle, but it's not Rusty due to Lance's Battles with Team Rocket.
Lorelei frowns, but can't disagree because she herself has never battled Emperor or even gotten close

Lance: We are done here, Pryce
Pryce:.......prehapes
The battle goes on, and Lance annihilates the rest of his team with a combo of D-Dances and Fire, and Thunder punches alongside Dragon Claw
(After the battle)
Announcer: A new champion has been crowned. Lance the Dragon Master has claimed the spot from the Elite 4 to the Champion. Let's give him and his Dragonite Emperor a round of applause
The Crowd goes crazy with celebration, and the Elite 4 join in
Lance: This is just the beginning, my people, things will change and fast because with me and my Elite 4, we will do the best for the Region
Lance walks away and towards the Elite 4 box

Cyrus: Nice job, Lance, but now our plans begin but for now let's celebrate a new age of the league
Lance nods in agreement and the 2 other Elite 4 members agree as well
Lance: Any idea who will go for the empty seat in the Elite 4, Cyrus?
Cyrus: Well, I have an idea, and I think it will be someone from Johto due to me and Agatha coming from Kanto and now the only Johtian is Lorelei, so Johto will send someone forward, no doubt, but I have a feeling an Old member will try his hand at it again and if that's the case then I say we have them battle it out for the spot
Lance: Agreed
All 4 Trainers head off to celebrate the changing of the regime
