Despite the devastating power of the four united, the situation was becoming critical, because every enemy slain dissolved into mist to resurrect a few seconds later, the body intact and the numbers multiplied tenfold. The successive waves of assailants eventually isolated them in different corners of the immense hall. No respite was granted to them: barely had one spectre collapsed than it was already reborn farther away, even more aggressive.
