Chapter 371 - Under the moonlight

After explaining the plan to Dyana so she could flee to the outskirts of Babylon, Klein returned to the floor below to help Walpurga.

The heir of Sulyvhan wiped the blade of his katana on a piece of torn cloth while catching his breath. The top of the Alchemy Tower was littered with the remains of possessed: inert bodies, twisted limbs, and traces of black blood drying on the stone slabs. Walpurga stood at the center, completely calm after the fight. She raised her hand and murmured an incantation. A violet flame appeared in the palm of her hand, then she threw it on the nearest corpses. The fire consumed the bodies without producing smoke, leaving only fine ashes that the wind carried away quickly.

"Three more over there, near the rampart," said Klein, pointing with his finger. "They are almost intact."
