Kaiser clenched his teeth, his arms already trembling uncontrollably under the effort and the pain of the chains. Sundering Eclipse was devouring his endurance at a frantic speed, draining his aura and vitality.
'That's the difference...' he thought. 'Between facing a normal A-rank warrior... and trying to survive against the heir of a legendary family?'
He turned his head for a fraction of a second, just enough to catch sight of Olivia frozen farther away.
"OLIVIA!" he shouted, "GO GET THE CLAYMORE! I'LL HOLD HIM!"
Godwin smiled again, but it was no longer a smile of contempt. It was the smile of a predator seeing its prey make one last mistake. His fists fully ignited, becoming miniature suns.
"Holding back a Pendragon... Empty words," he said.
And the gravity, until then contained, collapsed onto Kaiser, while Godwin's flaming fists rose for an assault that promised to be final.
