The group continued deeper into the ruins after absorbing the legacy left behind by the monolith. The black crystal in Wei Chen's possession pulsed more strongly the further they went, reacting to something ahead. The air grew denser with ancient energy, and faint golden lines began appearing on the stone walls around them.
After walking for some time, they entered a wide, circular hall filled with floating golden runes. In the center of the hall stood a large formation that was still active. The moment Wei Chen stepped inside, the runes on the walls and floor lit up brightly. A powerful wave of energy surged toward him, resonating directly with the Yang Dragon bloodline inside his body.
Wei Chen's eyes narrowed as a strong reaction erupted within him. His golden eyes glowed brighter, and faint golden scales flickered across his arms for a few seconds before disappearing. The black crystal in his hand shone intensely, feeding more energy into his body.
"This formation… it's resonating with my bloodline," he said, his voice slightly deeper than usual.
The formation didn't attack. Instead, it released a steady stream of ancient energy that flowed into Wei Chen. His aura grew stronger, and the Nine-Suns energy inside him became more active and refined. However, the process also put a heavy strain on his body.
Lin Xue and Su Mei quickly moved to his side. While the others stayed on guard, Lin Xue placed her hand on his back, channeling stabilizing energy through their blood pact. Su Mei stood close, ready to support him if needed.
Wei Chen closed his eyes and focused on absorbing the resonance. After several minutes, the formation dimmed and the energy flow stopped. He opened his eyes, which were still glowing faintly with golden light.
"My bloodline has become stronger," he said after a moment. "But it's not complete yet. This place was meant to awaken and nourish bloodlines like mine."
While the group discussed what had just happened, Wei Chen walked over to Sect Master Lan Qing, who was standing nearby with the other new queens. Without warning, he reached out and grabbed her waist, pulling her close. His hand slipped inside her robes and grabbed one of her tits, squeezing it firmly.
"You're part of this now too," he said while rubbing her nipple. "Your body already knows it."
Lan Qing's face turned slightly red, but she didn't resist his touch.
A little later, as the group was resting, Wei Chen pulled Su Mei onto his lap and casually opened her robes. He started sucking on her nipples while one hand slid between her legs, fingering her slowly. Su Mei bit her lip and held onto his shoulders as he teased her in front of the others.
Nearby, two of the new outer disciples were standing together. Wei Chen glanced at them and gestured for one to come over. When she approached, he reached out and groped her breast, rubbing it slowly while speaking with Lin Xue about the bloodline resonance.
"You're getting used to this," he said to the disciple while teasing her. "That's good."
After some time, Wei Chen stood up and looked deeper into the hall. The golden runes on the walls had dimmed, but he could sense that there was still more hidden further ahead.
"This resonance has given me more control over my bloodline," he said to the group. "But I can feel that there's still something important waiting deeper inside these ruins. We should keep moving."
He glanced at his women, his golden eyes sharp but carrying a hint of heat.
"Stay close. And don't fall behind."
