Chapter 12 - -Second round

Chaos was everywhere. People mourned their lost loved ones and focused their anger on their respective government. Most of the ones that died were the fraction of people who didn't train while knowing about the training stats ability. I felt stressed for the 2 days of rest that the game makers gave us before the second round. I used every single ounce of mental strength I had left to continue training in those two days. Jim and Anna continued to train together as well. In those two days, more than 20 small countries turned into dictatorships controlled by rebellion groups. The situation was controlled in Groveland, but it also didn't assure that it always would be. My strength was so overpowered that I had to only train anything else. I was one of the strongest beings in the world. I felt great and powerful. I changed from a small and weak boy into a muscular dark hair boy. My looks started getting into the right track and I started thinking about my education. However, each night was a nightmare. I imagined me killing the old man a thousand times and if I didn't my face would get crushed by his boulders. Jim started sleeping in Anna's home more and more. My screams were probably the reason.

Our relation started growing apart.

It was time to go to the big plaza and wait for the strange commentator. After some time, he descended from the sky. Since it was the third time, the reaction were way less than before.

He annouced, "Hello, everyone! It is time to start our secound round. Let's go! »

We teleported and I ended up in the same dark place as last time with a door name Floor 2 infront of me.

[Task: Beat a small dungeon in an hour]

[Reward: Added Exp. and + 1 in stamina]

[Penalty: Death]

I entered the door and prepared myself to face another challenge. Around me were three other person. The first one had blond hair like Jim. He said his name was Mark. He looked average and was rather timid. The two others were also male and had no interesting traits. There names were as original: Michael and Ken. Behing us were lots of weapons all on a sort of tray on a table. I chose a short metal knife and the others picked as well. When we did the path around us opened showing a dark and small tunnel wide enough for exactly 4 person. Me and Mark were in the front while the two other extras with their maces were behind us. The first oppenent came without fail. Two human like monsters. They were green and were as tall as me. They had short knifes and one of them was lounging at me. I blocked the attack with my knife and it was like a year of memories of training with the weapon were injectes in my head. I disarmed him in a flash and slashed his throat in seconds. I rushed at the second one not minding the notifications. He seemed scared or at least close to it since he ran away as fast as he could.

« Help! Help! Guys! A HUMAAan.. »

I planted my knife in his back before he could finish ending his plea. His cries alerted his group because we were face to face with 4 of them. I retreated with care. They seemed to be inspecting me. After some time, they decided to lunge at us thinking they had the advantage. One of the reasons for that choice was probably because Mark's longsword was planted in the sand beneath us because he tried running with it to catch up to me moments ago. The sort of goblins were probably thinking that I was the real threat and not him. My weapon was tainted with blood and theirs looked brand new. Michael and Ken were somewhat tired of doing nothing and they started going straight into the goblin on the right and the three of them clashed while swinging their weapons wildly. I was pretty much with the idea, so I attacked the three goblin on the left. I stepped back to dodge a horizontal attack and lunged to slash my sword into the weak arm of the goblin cutting it straight off. Then I simply let him alive for some time and started clashing with the other two. The battle was pretty hard, but their weak level with the weapon and their weak body was made them nothing compared to me. I killed one with my knife by slashing his throat and knocked the other with a punch on the jaw probably two times more powerful than one of a boxer. I finished him and the one arm one just after. Ken had a small injury on his waist but nothing too deep. Michaek was the one who got the merit for the kill and started crying of relief. Mark in the other had finally got his sword out of the sand. We all continued walking forward with new found determination. Them because I was here. Me because I was confident. New hords of goblins came every 8 minutes and I would sometimes let the others contribute. The boss of the dungeon was probably tired of watching his kind getting killed while I was tired of answering my team's questions on how to get stronger. He was a sort of orc. He looked like the old man, but green if that made sense. The others backed away while I stayed on my feet. He had a huge sort of bat in his right hand.

"Right handed, so I should attack his left.", I muttered.

This type of info was new for me since they all came while holding a knife. It was the restriction of my skill. I got a sort of satisfaction every time my proficiency went up, but it was still nowhere near the new state of mastery. 20% was where I was at. The 20% gave me the same knowledge as someone who would have trained with a knife for a a whole 3 month without rest nor sleep.

"Come fight me you crazy murderer!", he screamed.

"What?!"

He then smashed his bat on where I would've been if I hadn't moved half a second before.
