You can call it a bad night for Simi, that night when her parents sent her out of the house to the street in the rain.
She left the house that night not knowing where to go to, but one place came to her mind, she started going there and when she got to the front of the house and she knocked the door, and the next of what happened next is story for another time.

Simi was the first daughter of her parents, she had two siblings, an elder brother and a younger sister. She was the second born. Her father was a deacon in the church and can be said to be a strict and a disciplined man, that can be tagged a holy man.
Simi was in her final years in secondary school and she had a boyfriend who was her classmate too, his name was Deji. Despite all her fathers warning to abstain from pre married relationship, Simi never obeyed her father, so secretly she was having a sexual relationship with deji, this was going as a secret and was going well and smooth for Simi and Deji till the worst everyone could expect happened... Pregnancy came.
This was what brought about the change in a life story that left huge scar on the families.
Simi's father got angry after beating her to paulp that night and send her out, without caring to know who was responsible for the pregnancy.
It will be a shame for him as a deacon for his daughter at a young age without education to get pregnant with all his strict behavior towards them, he would rather die than have Simi stay around him with that pregnancy.
So that night was the night that the father and daughter bond and blood between Simi and her father got broken.
