Even though Piccolo had already recovered his strength, the moment he sensed Frieza's aura, he couldn't help but grit his teeth as beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.
Piccolo could only curse bitterly:
"What a monster!"
Just as everyone was at a loss for what to do, Frieza's figure suddenly appeared before them like a ghost.
At this moment, Frieza radiated a chilling killing intent. He stared coldly at the people before him as though they were nothing more than lambs waiting to be slaughtered.
Frieza's appearance had changed considerably compared to his previous forms.
His body had become much more streamlined, resembling the proportions of a human. He was only around 1.6 meters tall, considerably shorter than he had been before his transformation.
But this change didn't make him look cute or gentle.
On the contrary, his body now resembled that of a powerful warrior.
His muscles weren't exaggerated, but they were clearly defined, radiating an intimidating sense of strength.
His skin had also become smooth, while the horns and various spikes on his body had disappeared. Overall, he looked much cleaner and more refined.
Yet despite the changes to his appearance, Frieza's eyes remained filled with evil, coldness, and overwhelming pressure.
A ruthless, merciless light flickered within those eyes, as though they could see straight through a person's soul, sending chills down anyone's spine.
Seeing Frieza's final form, an uncontrollable feeling of despair surged through Piccolo's heart.
He knew that there was no way out anymore.
All he could do was steel himself and face this terrifying enemy head-on.
"I'm sorry. You went through so much trouble to bring me back to life, but… I might end up dying here together with all of you."
Piccolo muttered to himself, his voice carrying a trace of helplessness and sorrow.
At that moment, Frieza remained expressionless.
He didn't even spare Son Goku a glance.
Instead, he simply raised one hand.
Whoosh!
A dazzling beam of light shot from his palm.
It moved at incredible speed, streaking through the group like lightning.
Everyone stared in shock, completely unable to react.
The beam flew straight past them and struck Dende, who was standing the farthest away.
BOOM!
Under the tremendous impact, Dende's figure instantly disappeared, leaving behind only a cloud of smoke and dust.
"Dende!"
Gohan cried out in shock.
A sharp pain stabbed through his heart, accompanied by overwhelming regret and self-blame.
He had never imagined that Frieza had already noticed Dende's healing ability and would immediately target him!
Everything had happened far too quickly.
So quickly that no one had even had a chance to react!
With Dende's strength, he was probably already gone under the overwhelming power of Frieza's attack.
Gohan stared wide-eyed at the scene before him, his eyes filled with grief and regret.
How could he have allowed something like this to happen?
Why hadn't he protected Dende?
At that moment, Piccolo also sensed the deep despair contained within Frieza's attack.
His eyes widened as he muttered:
"How terrifying… I could only see a flash of light. There wasn't even enough time to react!"
For the first time, Piccolo felt completely powerless.
Dende had been the first to die.
Would everyone else soon meet the same fate, one after another, at Frieza's hands?
"Heh heh~ Now you won't be able to recover anymore!"
Frieza's cold voice rang out, carrying a hint of smugness and mockery.
He seemed extremely satisfied with what he had just done.
Seeing the terror and despair on everyone's faces filled him with a twisted sense of pleasure.
Faced with such a situation, how would these detestable insects respond?
They could only die unwillingly in despair!
This was the fate of anyone who dared provoke the number-one demon in the universe—Frieza!
Gohan turned around.
But Frieza's figure had disappeared from where he had been standing.
"No… He's gone!"
Gohan's eyes widened in disbelief.
Before he could even finish speaking, Frieza had already appeared beside them.
"Damn it!"
Even though they knew they weren't his opponents, Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo still gritted their teeth and attacked Frieza!
"Waaaaah!"
Gohan roared and swung his right fist toward Frieza.
"Take this!"
Krillin wasn't willing to fall behind either, throwing himself forward with a powerful kick.
"Take my attack!"
Piccolo attacked with both hands simultaneously, striking toward Frieza.
However, faced with the combined assault of the three, Frieza merely chuckled.
Standing where he was, he simply shifted his body slightly and effortlessly dodged their coordinated attacks.
"Kamehameha!"
Krillin roared again, bringing his hands together and firing a blue energy wave.
"Demon Flash!"
Piccolo followed up by unleashing a green energy blast.
"Haah!"
Gohan also refused to back down and fired a white energy wave.
The three energy blasts converged from three different directions, forming a powerful stream of energy that sealed off every possible escape route around Frieza.
Yet Frieza instantly disappeared from where he stood.
"Damn it! Where did he go?"
The three of them looked around frantically.
"Behind you!"
Vegeta immediately warned them.
"That's right!"
Frieza's voice came from behind them.
At the same time, two beams of light flashed through the air, shooting straight toward Gohan.
It was the same technique Frieza had used to attack Dende!
"Idiot! Get out of the way!"
Seeing that Gohan had failed to react, Vegeta became furious.
He immediately rushed forward and kicked Gohan away.
The energy blasts exploded in the distance.
Piccolo stared in astonishment.
"What incredible destructive power!"
At the same time, Piccolo noticed something else.
He couldn't even see the trajectories of the attacks Frieza had launched.
Yet Vegeta could!
Not only that, Vegeta's body was also fast enough to keep up with them.
"How did his strength increase this much again?"
Piccolo couldn't help but feel astonished.
Just moments ago, Vegeta had clearly been no match for him.
But now, Vegeta's strength had actually surpassed his own!
Watching everyone desperately struggle to survive, Frieza smiled once again.
After undergoing his final transformation, he could finally toy with these fools as easily as he pleased!
"Th-Thank you for saving me!"
Although Gohan had been kicked by Vegeta, he understood that Vegeta had just saved his life.
"Hmph!"
Vegeta coldly snorted.
"Don't get the wrong idea! I didn't save you!"
"I just wanted one more spectator to watch me defeat Frieza!"
Vegeta laughed confidently.
"You're confident you can defeat Frieza?"
Piccolo couldn't help but ask.
"Hahahaha!"
Vegeta arrogantly glanced at Piccolo.
"My strength, Vegeta's strength! Since when did it become your place to question it?"
After saying this, Vegeta fixed his gaze firmly on Frieza.
Seeing Vegeta become arrogant once again, Frieza let out a cold laugh.
"Oh? Vegeta, you've regained your confidence?"
"Don't tell me you've become mentally unstable because you're too terrified?"
Vegeta wasn't affected in the slightest.
Instead, he clenched his fist and spoke with absolute confidence.
"Enough with your arrogance, Frieza!"
"Just wait there and prepare to die!"
"I've already become the Super Saiyan you've feared the most!"
Frieza was startled when he heard this.
Then, he couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
"Even at a time like this, you're still making jokes!"
"Hmph! Just watch! You won't be laughing for much longer!"
With that, Vegeta unleashed all of his ki and charged straight toward Frieza!
