The night air was cool against his flushed skin, the scent of crushed grass and wildflowers thick around them and the moonlight spilled softly over Jett's shoulders as he hovered above him.
Everything felt slow and surreal, like time itself had thinned out just for the two of them.
Jett's fingers moved to Jamie's waistband with deliberate patience, resting them there for a moment as his eyes lifted to Jamie's face.
Jamie's breath was uneven. His lips parted slightly as he watched him, chest rising and falling too fast. His eyes watched him with hesitation and curiosity.
"Ugh, sweetheart, don't do that." Jett groaned softly when Jamie worried his bottom lip between his teeth.
The sound sent a strange warmth through Jamie's stomach.
Jett began unbuttoning his trousers slowly, giving Jamie all the time in the world to stop him if he wanted to. Every few seconds, his eyes flicked up to Jamie's, silently asking.
But Jamie didn't stop him. He just watched.
