A reincarnator with a cheat that bought a whole company for him, alongside the promise of Immortality (the type where you wont be able to die) and Unlimited Money for the sake of development.
A regular man, parachuted into the world of Honkai 3rd for the sake of lore-bombing these backwater dumbasses with knowledge they wouldn't know of if Welt 'Sit-ups' Yang doesn't share it with them about a decade later in the future.

Because the unlimited money is, a weird scam of sorts. The money is real and clean of course, but everytime he assigns a budget using the system, he notices a strange series of robberies were reported in the news and the dark side of the net.
Out of suspicion towards these many, strangely timed, totally coincidental, succesful robberies, he only assigned the absolute necessary amount for salary and development.

What about it? The Megaman X series did pretty well of course, though as always, like some weird f-ed up law of the Honkai 3rd universe, it will always remain below HOMU.
We stopped producing after Megaman X5 because some things just needs to end. Maybe if the system powers sticks with me I'd make an actual improvement on the Megaman Zero series games? Who knows.
But hey, the company is developing well. Mi**yo, now based in the Far East have had an increase in staff, all signing the same contract the original staffs did, pledging their souls to the Devil that is my System. (Definitely not me, nuh-uh) From one small team to now about 4 teams, Star Rail would be able to be launched all the way to outer space for sure.

Unsurprisngly, I stumbled (dug around for months) upon the Black Box in the vicinity of Chiba City.
In the original timeline, the Herrscher of Corrruption is woken up by Raiden Mei's ascencion, went to Nagazora and partied up for a short while with K423 and co., before being subjugated by Theresa in a discarded storyline.
As for me, well. The short answer is Immortality.
The long answer? After finding the black box I immediately try to access it, and failed. Failure means death, failure means becoming a puppet of Jigokumaru, the fox. Unfortunately for Jigokumaru, Raihou Fukai was effectively immortal, and humans adapts to their surroundings overtime.
After 3 years of literal torture, organs rupturing, blood boiling and bones snapping, Raihou Fukai manages to get the upper hand and becomes the ultimate winner in the 3-player tug of war.
But wait! Three players you say?! Who ever might the third be?!
Obviously it's Yae Sakura. Despite technically being her ally, Yae Sakura had never spoken a single word to me during the three year struggle, much less actively supporting me. It's great that she's attacking and restraining Jigokumaru but damn, not a single word of worry? How sad. That's just life as a man in the world of Honkai after all.
*What happens next? What happens to Jigokumaru and Yae Sakura?*
Good question.
Well, while I, Raihou Fukai am the nominal winner of the fight, I didn't erase them. My System gave me a warning, you see -
"If you are to erase them both, you will become the TRuE Herrscher of Corruption, and will inevitably be detected by the Big Three Superpowers."
"This system recommends taking over only the Authority of Corruption, while sharing the rest of the powers with Sakura and Rin, allowing them to be your pawns."
Despite saying all that, the system can't actually do jackshit to help with reclaiming the authority though. (Lol)

Other than entertaining the monologue in his head, Raihou Fukai was in the middle of gathering survivors.
In the ruins of a devastated Nagazora, hordes of Zombies and Honkai Beasts prowl around, seeking humans to eliminate. Though most of them remains strangely still.
Though he has the power and ability to erase them swiftly, he chose to simply grab the civilians and group them somewhere safer.

"Don't be too noisy kids, the Zombies are gonna come for you."
The children were... Very delighted, to say the least.
Many of those he saved were already badly infected by the leftover ambient Honkai Energy left by the Herrscher of Thunder. If he didn't have the powers of the Herrscher of Corruption to siphon it away without them noticing, he would've had have to leave them to their deaths.
And of course, at least half the children have awakened to imperfect Stigmatas. In order for them to live, these children needs to constantly absorb Honkai Energy to fuel it.
*Clack* *Clack*
The sound of heels clacking caught his attention. No sane person would choose to wear heels in places with such bad footing. Not unless they're Schicksal Valkyries that prefers wearing skintight, revealing "armour" or... Something else of similarly great significance.
"So you've come."
Turning his head towards the source of the footsteps, his suspicion was proven, his patience, rewarded. As the one walking straight towards him, with a few unconcious children in her grasp, was Raven, the Mercenary from World Serpent.
"I've been waiting for you, Raven of the World Serpent."
'Seriously though how is she carrying that many kids at once?'
