Chapter 11 - Raynare’s Death

In the blink of an eye, several days passed.

During this time, Miko had a preliminary grasp of the complete application of magic, as well as some basic magic usage. Everything was fine except for her somewhat weak physical body.

Moreover, Miko's transfer issue was also completed in these few days.

So, starting next Monday, Miko will begin distributing flyers to fulfill others' wishes, thereby allowing her to advance to a Low-Class Devil.

And today was also the weekend.

Abel slowly got up from the bed, feeling a bit tired, and glanced at Grayfia, who was sleeping with a rosy face and closed eyes beside him.

He held his waist and leaned against the wall, slowly standing up. He felt like he was being drained dry. At this moment, he realized that he had been indulging too much.

From today onwards, Abel decided to abstain in the coming days. He would talk about other things after his body had recovered.

Thinking this, he walked from upstairs, leaning against the wall, towards the living room, while also using magic to change his clothes.

At this moment, the time was nearing dusk.

Tiamat, who should have been staying at home, was nowhere to be seen.

Abel went to the kitchen, took out milk, and frowned. "Did I forget something?"

"Oh! Issei."

Recalling his close friend who had led him astray, Abel unhurriedly activated the teleportation array.

...

At this moment, Issei, whose mind was filled with lust and who was imagining getting rid of his virginity, stood by the fountain, looking at his girlfriend standing by the fountain.

"Issei, can you promise me one thing?"

"What is it? As long as I can do it, I will definitely help you."

Listening to Yuuma, no, it should be Raynare's words, Issei showed his masculinity.

Raynare skipped over to Issei, leaned close to his ear, and asked, "Can you please die?"

"What did you sa—"

Pfft!

The sound of a blade piercing flesh rang out.

Issei hadn't finished speaking when a sharp pain came from his abdomen. He looked down at the light spear stuck in his abdomen and touched it with his hand. He saw that his palm was covered in blood, and then stumbled and knelt on the ground.

The next second, black feathers scattered across the sky.

Issei stiffly looked up at Raynare, who was sitting by the fountain, only to see his Yuuma-chan transform into a beautiful woman with black wings.

"W-why?" Issei slowly uttered a few words.

Raynare looked at the bracelet Issei had bought for her on her hand and said, "Playing house with you was fun, but it's because you have a Sacred Gear residing in you."

'What is a Sacred Gear?'

Issei thought this, but he couldn't ask.

He fell to the ground, his eyes beginning to lose their light.

"Issei, you really are in a sorry state."

Issei seemed to hear Abel's voice. He didn't expect that the last person he would think of was this guy who had already started a harem.

But looking at the white hair that came into view, he still said in a weak voice, "Abel, run..."

As soon as his words fell, Issei fainted.

What Abel didn't expect was that the first thing Issei did upon seeing him was to tell him to run away.

Raynare, looking at this suddenly appearing white-haired man, was startled, then angrily said, "Who are you!"

Abel ignored the Fallen Angel behind him, merely raising his right hand.

A golden cross-shaped object was embedded in the back of Abel's hand.

This was the Longinus—Telos Karma.

Abel slowly spoke, "Modify."

Issei was enveloped in light, the huge hole in his abdomen slowly disappeared, and his pale face turned rosy.

In other words, the injuries on him were modified to be non-existent. It was like deleting the concept of Issei being injured.

"What do you take me for!"

"How dare you save someone right under my nose!"

Raynare, seeing Abel ignore her, was furious, and thrust out a light spear towards him.

Abel turned around, watching the light spear coming towards him without moving.

Just as the light spear was about to hit him, it suddenly curved and then transformed into energy, swirling around Abel.

Kankara Formula automatically activated.

Raynare couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"N-no way!"

She summoned another light spear and threw it towards Abel. One by one, the light spears attacking Abel bypassed him and turned into energy, swirling around him. Abel, enveloped in golden light, was like a god.

He looked at Raynare as if she were a dead person. "Do you think that old geezer Azazel will still keep you if he knows you distorted his orders?"

Hearing Abel's words, Raynare's pupils contracted. She seemed to have heard something incredible.

Why does this guy in front of her know Azazel, and even know the orders Azazel had given to everyone?

If Azazel knew about her actions, he would definitely cast her out.

No!

This must never happen.

What to do?

That's right, this white-haired guy saw everything. He must not be left alive.

Then...

"As long as you die, no one will know about today's events." Raynare said with a distorted face.

Holy power gathered in her hand and transformed into a huge golden spear.

"Die!!!"

The long spear was thrown, shooting towards Abel.

Abel looked at Raynare with cold eyes. The golden spear, as it approached him, did the same as before, deflecting and turning into energy, floating around him.

Seeing this, Raynare was panicked. "I-impossible!"

"Nothing is impossible."

Abel made a motion of drawing a bow, and the energy Raynare had sent him transformed into a golden longbow that appeared in his left hand. He drew the bow with his right hand, then slowly pulled the bowstring.

All the energy around Abel completely transformed into a golden arrow.

Feeling the terrifying energy on the arrow, Raynare looked terrified, spread her wings, and flew towards the sky.

"No, I want to live! I haven't served Azazel-sama yet! I can't die here!"

Abel aimed at Raynare and released his right hand.

Whoosh!

The arrow shot out, streaking across the sky like a meteor, chasing Raynare.

Raynare desperately flapped her wings in the air, trying to evade this fatal blow. However, the arrow was too fast and caught up to her in an instant.

"No—"

Raynare screamed in despair.

The arrow hit her, and the terrifying energy on it engulfed her, leaving no trace of her.
