Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Seven Years Later, Preparing to Set Sail

Spring passed and autumn arrived. In the blink of an eye, seven years had gone by.

Leon Fang had grown from a small child into a tall, spirited young man. He stood at one hundred eighty-five centimeters tall, with a lean and well-proportioned build, weighing seventy-five kilograms.

During these seven years, Leon Fang had done nothing but cultivate.

The cultivation levels of Lingbo Weibu, Beiming Divine Skill, Tianshan Six Yang Palm, Bahuang Liuhe Weiwoduzun, Lion's Roar Skill, Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms, and the Indestructible Vajra Divine Skill had all reached the Grandmaster realm.

Filled with confidence, Leon Fang once again set out to find the gorilla who had "stolen" his martial arts all those years ago.

Activating Lingbo Weibu, his figure flickered, and in an instant, he arrived at the battlefield where they had once clashed.

Leon Fang called out several times, but there was no response.

Left with no choice, he inhaled deeply and unleashed the Lion's Roar Skill.

"ROAR—!"

The thunderous sound shook the forest.

Soon, rustling noises echoed from the woods. Dozens of gorillas emerged, surrounding Leon Fang. Among them, a massive gorilla over five meters tall slowly stepped forward.

It stared at Leon Fang and spoke calmly, "Human, you have finally arrived. I have waited for you for seven years."

Leon Fang stared at it, stunned.

"You… you're a monster? Why didn't you speak back then?"

The gorilla replied, "Only the chieftain can speak. The previous chieftain was my father. Two years ago, he passed away and chose a new chieftain before his death. Fortunately, I learned two sword techniques from you back then, which allowed me to defeat all my competitors."

It placed a massive hand on its chest.

"From now on, you are my friend. My name is Orn. What is your name?"

Leon Fang rolled his eyes at him.

"You call that learning? That was outright stealing. I didn't come here to chat. Come on—I'll beat you up in a bit."

Orn shook his head.

"You are my friend. I will not strike you."

"Then let's have a friendly competition."

"Fine," Leon Fang said, then paused. "But you'd better be careful. I've learned something called threefold dominance over the past few years."

Orn tilted his head. "Threefold dominance?"

Leon Fang's expression changed instantly.

"What did you say? Do you mean Conqueror's Haki, Armament Haki, and Observation Haki?"

Orn looked surprised.

"How do you know that, my friend? You know it too?"

Leon Fang did not answer immediately. His thoughts raced.

Could it be that I've really come to the world of One Piece? If this truly is that world, can Chinese martial arts stand against Devil Fruit users? Those people are monsters… I should confirm it first.

"Orn," Leon Fang asked directly, "do you know about Devil Fruits?"

"I do," Orn nodded. "There are three Devil Fruits within our clan. We never eat them. We believe only in our own strength."

Hearing this, Leon Fang's heart sank.

So it really is the One Piece world… Can I still survive here?

He felt a wave of pressure, but quickly steadied himself.

Since I've come to this world, I'll live without regrets. I'll carve out my own path with Chinese Kung Fu. Otherwise, I'd be betraying the Jin Yong manuals in my mind.

"Orn," Leon Fang said solemnly, "thank you for telling me what world I'm in. From now on, you are my friend. My name is Leon Fang."

"Oh," Orn scratched his head. "What a strange name."

"Enough talk!" Leon Fang laughed loudly. "Come on, my friend. Let's see how much you've improved over the years."

"Don't underestimate me!" Orn said proudly. "My strength has already reached the general level."

Hearing this, Leon Fang rubbed his hands together.

"Good. Let me see how strong a general really is."

"Tianshan Six Yang Palm!"

Leon Fang struck out instantly.

Orn raised his massive arm to meet the attack, and the two exchanged blows head-on. For a moment, they were evenly matched.

Leon Fang stepped back and said calmly, "Be careful now."

First Form of the Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms: Dragon Regrets

Leon Fang bent his left leg slightly, drew his right arm inward, traced a circle with his palm, then thrust it forward with a roaring force. His left hand followed in a sweeping arc, both palms surging outward together.

Orn roared as well, his body covered in Armament Haki. He was forced back several steps but remained unharmed, fully demonstrating the terrifying defensive power of Haki.

"Watch my Armament Haki fist!" Orn roared, charging forward.

Leon Fang activated the Indestructible Vajra Divine Skill, golden light faintly shimmering over his body as he rushed in.

Second Form of the Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms: Flying Dragon in the Sky

Orn responded with a loud roar of his own.

Second Form of the Ape Clan Combat Art: Soaring Gorilla

The two clashed fiercely.

Third Form: Dragon Appears in the Field

Third Move: Ape Shakes the Heavens

Fourth Form: Wild Goose Gradually Lands

Fourth Move: Ape Battle Style

"Enough," Leon Fang suddenly said. "Let's decide it with the final move."

Orn nodded, then roared as he charged forward.

Leon Fang's entire body glowed gold as he shouted with all his strength:

"The ultimate move of the Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms—

Subduing Dragon Tail Swing!"

A golden dragon roared into existence, charging straight toward Orn.

Orn's attack arrived at the same time.

Boom!

Both figures were blasted backward.

Leon Fang steadied himself midair and laughed loudly.

"Hahaha! Orn, you lost! You couldn't even break my Indestructible Vajra Divine Skill!"

Orn stood up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and stared at Leon Fang in shock.

"Friend… what kind of technique is this? It's even stronger than my dominance. I want to learn it!"

Leon Fang said solemnly, "This is Eastern Kung Fu."

"Kung Fu?" Orn scratched his head, completely confused.

"You want to learn?" Leon Fang grinned. "If you want to learn, I'll teach you."

Only then did Leon Fang confirm his own strength.

He was now at the Martial Grandmaster realm—equivalent to a Marine Admiral.

This realization made him extremely happy.

As for whether his internal energy could counter a Logia-type Devil Fruit, he wasn't sure yet.

Even if I can't hit them, Leon Fang thought calmly, it doesn't matter.

During the fight earlier, he had secretly used the Lesser Formless Skill to imitate Orn's Haki. But unless absolutely necessary, he would not rely on it.

He would crush everything with pure Chinese Kung Fu.

Afterward, Leon Fang asked, "Orn, do you have a boat?"

Orn nodded.

"My father once sailed the seas. If you want it, you can take it."

Leon Fang patted Orn happily.

"That's great. Thank you."

He followed Orn to see the ship. It wasn't large, but not small either—about ten meters long and five meters high.

"The outside world is dangerous," Orn said seriously. "Be careful. Let's set sail tomorrow."

Leon Fang nodded. It was already late, so he followed Orn back to his dwelling and rested there, preparing to depart early the next morning.

That night, Leon Fang taught Orn the Dugu Nine Swords, the Six Meridian Divine Sword, and the Nine Yang True Scripture.

To express his gratitude, Orn asked Leon Fang to wait. He disappeared briefly into a room and soon returned, holding a weapon.

"This is for you," Orn said, handing it over.

Leon Fang accepted it in surprise.

It was a Chinese sword.

"How can there be a Chinese sword in the One Piece world?" Leon Fang frowned.

He shook his head and stopped overthinking it. But the moment he drew the blade, his entire body stiffened.

Because the sword in his hand was—

Seven-Star Dragon Abyss.

Leon Fang had loved famous swords since his days on Earth. He recognized it instantly.

The Seven-Star Dragon Abyss had long vanished from history. Why was it here?

Legend had it that this sword was jointly forged by the two great masters, Ou Yezi and Gan Jiang. To forge it, they carved open Mount Ci, diverted mountain streams, and channeled them into seven pools arranged like the Big Dipper beside the forge—hence the name "Seven Stars." When the sword was completed, gazing upon its blade felt like peering into a bottomless abyss from a towering peak—ethereal and profound, as though a giant dragon lay coiled within.

Thus, it was named Dragon Abyss.

Its craftsmanship was unquestionably peerless.
