Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Seiryū’s Ruthlessness

"Byakurai…"

Without stopping, Seiryū formed another hand seal and pointed his finger again. Lightning shot out, piercing straight through Ryosuke's thigh. Blood instantly poured out uncontrollably.

"Aaahhh!!!"

His shoulder and thigh were pierced in succession. The intense pain caused Ryosuke's eyes to widen as his screams grew even more shrill, his expression becoming utterly twisted.

This was from the pain.

And also from rage.

His right leg gave out under the agony, and Ryosuke collapsed to the ground. He clutched his wounds and howled nonstop, his body trembling violently.

Blood gushed out, quickly dyeing the ground crimson, creating a horrifying sight.

Ryosuke roared hoarsely like a feral beast, "Ah, how dare you. Ahhh, I'm going to kill you, kill you!"

Why?

Why was this guy so strong?

Why did he dare to attack an Uchiha clansman like him so viciously?

Was he not afraid?

A mere outsider adopted by a Jonin actually dared to do something so outrageous to a member of the Uchiha Clan.

"The noble Uchiha? Kill me? I'm so scared…"

Seiryū spoke as if he were afraid, yet the coldness in his eyes did not change at all. He was completely different from his usual self.

When facing those who dared threaten him or his family, Seiryū would show no mercy or pity.

Looking down at Ryosuke, who lay on the ground clutching his wounds and screaming with a twisted expression, Seiryū maintained that chilling smile.

"It seems you still don't understand the situation you're in, noble Uchiha."

As he spoke, Seiryū lifted his right foot and aimed it at Ryosuke's left calf.

Boom. Crack.

He stomped down heavily, using monstrous strength. The ground beneath his foot collapsed and cracked, accompanied by the sound of bones snapping.

Ryosuke's calf twisted unnaturally. Several broken, stark white bones pierced through the flesh, turning the area into a bloody mess.

"Aaah!!"

A sharp, piercing scream tore from Ryosuke's throat. The pain of having his leg bones crushed was unbearable for an ordinary person, and even more so for him.

It was even more painful than being pierced by lightning. The lightning at least carried a numbing effect.

Painful. Too painful.

Ryosuke's eyes bulged. His crimson eyes reverted to black, but the whites were filled with dense blood vessels, creating a terrifying sight.

Veins bulged on his forehead. His face turned deathly pale as large beads of sweat poured down. The twisted expression on his face no longer looked human.

This was caused by pain.

Anger, brutality, and madness filled Ryosuke's eyes, but fear was even more evident.

Why fear?

Because of Seiryū's ruthlessness, because of the agony of his wounds, and because he sensed death.

From a child several years younger than him, he experienced the emotion known as fear.

After all, he was only twelve or thirteen years old. Having never endured such agony before, his mind showed signs of collapse. The overwhelming pain triggered his body's self-protection instinct.

Uchiha Ryosuke passed out.

"Already unconscious? Not yet…"

Looking at the unconscious Ryosuke, Seiryū chuckled softly, his laughter filled with cruelty. He formed a single hand seal, intending to use Hadō #11: Tsuzuri Raiden to shock him awake.

He had threatened him. He had threatened Kurenai. He kept saying he would cripple him and kill him.

Was the noble Uchiha Clan really that impressive?

Did their family run Konoha?

They could do whatever they wanted?

Hehehe. This was not over yet. Passing out now was letting him off too easily.

Just then, a small figure rushed over and grabbed Seiryū, stopping his movements.

It was Kurenai.

"Seiryū, are you okay? Don't scare me. Don't kill him. Please go back to normal."

Her voice trembled as tears streamed down her face.

Her expression was full of panic and fear.

What had happened to Seiryū?

This was not the Seiryū she knew.

The Seiryū just now was terrifying. His ruthless actions even made her feel afraid.

If Seiryū continued, this Uchiha clansman would die.

Feeling Kurenai holding him tightly and hearing her trembling voice, Seiryū took a deep breath and suppressed the violent emotions surging in his mind.

He gently rubbed her head.

"Don't cry."

He showed the gentle smile he only ever showed to family.

"I'm fine."

Glancing at the unconscious Ryosuke, Seiryū thought to himself, you really got off easy.

Still clinging to Seiryū, Kurenai looked at him with tear-filled eyes and asked cautiously, "R really? Are you really okay now? Just now, you scared me to death…"

"I'm really fine." Seiryū smiled and nodded. "I'm sorry for scaring you."

Kurenai wiped her tears. Seiryū seemed to have returned to normal, but the scene from moments ago left a deep impression on her young heart.

She sobbed, "Seiryū, Seiryū, how about we go see a doctor?"

"They can treat you. The way you were just now was too scary. You weren't like your usual self."

Could Seiryū's mental condition have worsened?

She was extremely worried.

The Seiryū just now felt like a completely different person. That was definitely not normal.

She vaguely knew of a condition where someone, once provoked, would seem to turn into another person.

She had always thought Seiryū had some kind of mental issue. Not only her, even her father thought so. What she had just witnessed seemed to confirm it.

Seiryū fell silent.

Give her an inch and she took a mile.

He had already said he was not sick. He was not sick.

He tapped Kurenai on the head and said seriously, "If you keep holding onto me, that guy is going to die from blood loss. If he dies here, I'll be in serious trouble."

"R right." Kurenai finally remembered the Uchiha clansman. She looked over and was shocked again by how miserable he looked.

Her body shuddered involuntarily.

She was certain that Seiryū earlier was absolutely not normal.

His actions were far too ruthless.

She hurriedly said, "Quick, quickly take him to the hospital…"

If this person died here, Seiryū would truly be in trouble. Even if the other side provoked them first and said those malicious words, death was another matter.

If he really died, Seiryū would definitely be held responsible. After all, he was from the Uchiha Clan.

She did not want anything to happen to Seiryū, not even the slightest thing.

Seiryū said helplessly, "Then why aren't you letting go of me?"

"Oh." Kurenai quickly released him and urged, "Hurry up. He looks terrible right now…"
