Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Ranking the Most Bizarre Nicknames Across the Multiverse

The world of One Piece.

Marine Headquarters.

All the top brass of the Marines — Sengoku, Garp, Tsuru, and others — were gathered inside the conference room.

"Strange phenomena have been appearing all over the world recently. What have your investigations uncovered?"

As Fleet Admiral, Sengoku was the first to break the silence.

"The recent anomalies may be caused by the emergence of some kind of treasure."

Tsuru spoke calmly as she distributed a stack of documents, handing one to each person present.

"So far, we haven't found any evidence of such a treasure appearing. But these phenomena keep occurring all around the globe, each lasting for different lengths of time. We need further investigation."

"This isn't something cooked up by the Revolutionary Army, is it??"

Garp picked his nose lazily as he listened to Tsuru's conclusion.

"We're not sure yet. But the Revolutionary Army has been unusually active lately."

Sengoku frowned and looked toward Tsuru.

"Send people to investigate the Revolutionary Army's movements. Find out what they're planning this time. And have all Marine personnel raise their alert level. We absolutely cannot let those Revolutionary scoundrels keep acting so brazenly!"

Tsuru nodded and immediately rose to give orders to her subordinates.

"All right, next — report the situation on the pirate side."

Sengoku waved his hand and turned to Akainu and the others, the primary force responsible for suppressing pirate activity.

"As for pirates — their numbers keep increasing. And more Devil Fruit users have appeared among them… However, they aren't uniting with each other, so the pressure on our Marine branches hasn't grown too much."

Aokiji spoke casually, turning his head toward the sky outside the window.

At some point, dark clouds had gathered overhead…

"What's going on?"

Sengoku narrowed his eyes, staring out at the ominous sky.

"No idea. Could it be the pirates?"

Kizaru's expression grew serious as he responded coldly.

BOOM!!!!

A deafening clap of thunder exploded across the sky!!

Everyone in Marine Headquarters suddenly felt their vision blur!

When they recovered, a massive transparent screen had appeared above the conference table.

Lines of text emerged on the screen—

The world of Naruto.

Konohagakure Village.

Peaceful and lively, the villagers of Konoha were enjoying their tranquil daily life.

"Naruto!!! Get back here!!!"

Suddenly, a furious roar echoed from above the village.

The villagers didn't even flinch; many showed expressions of "Here we go again."

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Two figures darted across the rooftops of the residential district.

In front was a blond boy carrying a metal bucket filled with brightly colored paint.

"Hehehe! No way! Catch me if you can, Iruka-sensei!!"

CRACK!!

Just as Naruto Uzumaki was laughing wildly, the sky suddenly erupted with thunder. A bolt of lightning flashed across the heavens!

Startled, Naruto slipped — and tumbled right off the rooftop.

"You try running now!! Naruto Uzumaki!!!"

A moment later, Iruka landed right in front of the face-planted Naruto, a giant throbbing vein bulging on his forehead as he glared.

"Iruka-sensei… what's that?"

Naruto scrambled to his feet, ready to bolt again — but the sight before him stunned him into immobility.

He pointed blankly at a transparent screen that had appeared out of nowhere.

"This is…"

Iruka followed his gaze — and froze as well.

Text appeared on the screen—

...

The world of Demon Slayer.

The Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, stared blankly at the transparent screen before him.

Yes — stared.

That was the strangest part.

He was blind, yet he could clearly "see" the floating screen.

The other Hashira were similarly stunned — identical screens had appeared before each of them.

Having battled demons for years, their first assumption was that this was something Muzan had created.

But after staying on guard for a long time and seeing no change in the screen, confusion surfaced instead.

"Do not worry. This doesn't seem to be something dangerous."

Gyomei finally spoke. He had already opened the video.

The title concerned him greatly.

Demon Slayer Corps…

That was clearly referring to them.

But "Tenth Hashira"…?

Everybody knew there were only nine Hashira. When did a tenth one appear?

Tanjiro…

The name felt familiar.

Wasn't that the new recruit who joined the Demon Slayer Corps this year?

Countless questions flashed through Gyomei's mind.

The other Hashira relaxed upon hearing his words. Gyomei's strength was unquestioned. If he said it wasn't dangerous, it probably wasn't.

But then, their attention was drawn outside.

A radiant, seven-colored aurora arched across the entire sky like a majestic bridge!

Sunlight refracted through the colors, scattering countless shimmering motes of light.

What a breathtaking sight!

For a moment, none of them could look away.

But soon—

"W-what is that!?"

Giyu Tomioka suddenly exclaimed.

The Hashira turned toward him—

—and froze when they saw his expression, as if he had witnessed something unbelievable.

Their gazes dropped to their own screens.

And the text stunned them.

Tenth Hashira???

What!?

Since when did the Demon Slayer Corps have a tenth Hashira!?

Tanjiro?

"Could it be Tanjiro Kamado!?" Giyu said in shock.

"Tanjiro Kamado? Who is that?" Shinobu Kocho asked, puzzled.

"A new member of the Corps. I've told you all about him — the one whose sister is… rather special."

As Giyu spoke, he pressed the button to play the video.
