Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: The Gaze from the Top of the Food Chain

The eyes of the entire world were focused on the Loguetown plaza—Broly stepped on Roger's corpse without a hint of embarrassment. He casually grabbed a relatively clean piece of cloth from Roger's body to wipe himself, his actions completely disregarding the deathly silence around him.

Feels good!

He tore off one of Roger's sleeves and tied it haphazardly around his waist as a loincloth, muttering in his heart, "Where to next?"

Growl—

The protest from his stomach interrupted his thoughts. Broly patted his belly, remembering the astonishing appetite carved into Saiyan bones.

Forget it, since things have come to this, let's eat first.

Broly walked with a wobbly gait; at first glance, it looked a bit cute, but right now, not a single person in the world thought so.

The townspeople, bruised and battered by the two earlier shockwaves, stood up in unison, their eyes filled with the terror of looking at a monster.

Far away in Mary Geoise, one of the Five Elders, St. Marcus Mars, had already rushed to the Visual Den Den Mushi, his roar echoing through the line: "Sengoku! Why are you dazing off? Capture that brat immediately!"

A child estimated to be around three years old was actually able to throw a Marine Admiral.

Even if Sengoku was suspected of underestimating the enemy, this power was enough to make the world tremble.

If allowed to grow, the threat would only be greater than that of Charlotte Linlin.

Sengoku, who had personally tasted Broly's terror, finally suppressed the last trace of hesitation.

He was not entirely benevolent; the Buster Call order that destroyed Ohara two years ago also came from his hand.

In this sea where scum ran rampant, his "conscience" just had a slightly higher bottom line than others, much like Garp; they were two peas in a pod.

"For the peace of the world, for the safety of the citizens, come with this old man!"

Sengoku's roar shook the plaza. The golden Great Buddha form activated again as he charged fiercely toward Broly.

Broly rolled his eyes; it was exactly the same nonsense Danzo spouted before dying.

He raised his hand toward the charging Sengoku, a dense dark green light rising in his palm.

Sengoku, whose Observation Haki was instantly maxed out, smelled the ultimate scent of death from that chubby little hand.

His body moved sideways before his consciousness could react.

Bang—!

The green light tore through the air, grazing past Sengoku's side and blasting into the buildings at the edge of the plaza.

Boom—!

Amidst the deafening noise, rows of houses were blasted open with huge gaps as if made of paper. The fissures spread all the way to the coast of Loguetown, and the sea surface suddenly whipped up giant waves hundreds of meters high, a monstrous curtain of water blotting out the sky.

Behind his sunglasses, Doflamingo's eyes almost popped out of the lenses. At this moment, he had only one thought in his mind: Is the hidden national treasure of the Celestial Dragons this fierce?

The Black Blade Yoru hanging at Mihawk's side trembled slightly. This blade, one of the Supreme Grade Blades symbolizing the pinnacle of swordsmanship in this world, was sensing a crisis!

As for the Four Emperors' crews watching this scene through the Visual Den Den Mushi, they were in an uproar:

On Whole Cake Island, Katakuri was so scared his lips were trembling. "Mama... can she do this to such an extent?" The surrounding Charlotte family children remained silent, the answer already clear in their hearts—although their mother was terrifying, the power in the video could no longer be described with words.

On Onigashima, Kaido froze with his hand holding a wine jar in mid-air, unaware that the liquor had spilled all over him.

Facing a strong opponent, the Strongest Creature, who should have become braver with every battle, now felt only a bone-chilling coldness. "This brat... isn't human at all!"

On the Moby Dick, Marco of the Whitebeard Pirates pinched his thigh hard. Only the pain confirmed it wasn't a dream. He looked toward his Pops, Whitebeard, and saw that the magnificent figure was also gazing at the screen, his large hand trembling visibly.

Sengoku, having escaped death, looked at the gap that pierced through the town, his mouth forming an 'O' shape. When he came back to his senses, his voice was trembling: "So... such terrible power! We absolutely cannot let you do as you please outside; you must be under the jurisdiction of the Marines and the World Government!"

He tried to charge at Broly again, but just as he took a step, his entire person fell heavily to the ground. The pathetic sight of him eating dirt was a stark contrast to his earlier majesty.

"W... What happened?"

Heart-wrenching pain instantly swept through his body. Sengoku turned his head to look and discovered with horror that the right half of his body—his right hand, right foot, and even the right side of his chest and abdomen—had vanished without a trace. His body was missing a full forty percent!

He had dodged just now, but he hadn't completely dodged.

"Ahhh—!"

A miserable scream resounded through the plaza.

The whole world was stunned.

One move actually reduced a Marine Admiral to such a state.

"Protect Sengoku-san!"

Kizaru suddenly dropped his usual laziness. His face was solemn as iron as he sternly commanded the Marine soldiers.

Soldiers in white swarmed up, frantically lifting Sengoku, who had only half a body left, onto a stretcher. But everyone knew clearly that this man, currently the only Admiral of the Marines, would not survive.

The plaza, where hundreds of thousands of people had gathered, was now so deadly silent that one could hear a pin drop.

Doflamingo swallowed a mouthful of dry saliva. He couldn't even let out his trademark "Fuffuffu" laugh, only secretly marveling in his heart: This sea is going to boil over completely—no, it's going to be completely overturned by this brat's power.

After Sengoku fell, Kizaru became the highest-ranking Marine on the scene.

He felt Broly's gaze sweep over him. Beads of sweat the size of beans slid down the lines of his face, his back already soaked in cold sweat.

Even when he followed Sengoku to participate in the battle between Roger and Shiki the Golden Lion back then, he had never been this terrified. The indifference in that gaze felt as if everyone present was merely an ant that could be crushed at will.

Broly's target had already shifted from Sengoku to Borsalino.

After knowing what the Celestial Dragons did in God Valley, he had no goodwill toward the Marines to begin with, so naturally, he wouldn't show any mercy.

The dark green light in his palm lit up again, brighter than before.

The whole world was confused—He can actually fire that move consecutively?

Kizaru subconsciously took two steps back, his voice trembling: "That move... can be fired consecutively?"

He thought of his Glint-Glint Fruit, thought of the ultimate speed of his light-speed kick, but in the face of this endless destructive power, speed seemed like a joke.

"Ahhh—!"

Just when Borsalino didn't know what to do, a Marine soldier could no longer withstand the suffocating pressure and turned to flee, screaming.

This sound of a breakdown was like hot oil splashing into boiling water, instantly igniting the panic of the Marines.

Countless soldiers threw away their helmets and armor, fleeing frantically toward the rear, just to get a little further away from that infant.

They stumbled, some even falling to the ground in fear, but they didn't even have the courage to look back, only wishing their parents had given them two extra legs.

Kizaru's eyes widened, filled with disbelief.

Those participating in this mission were the elite of the elite Marines.

It could even be said that their combat power was no less than the main force of the future Summit War, yet at this moment, facing a three-year-old infant, they were utterly defeated.

He finally understood that this was no longer a simple matter of a gap in strength, but the most primitive fear generated when a creature at the bottom of the biological chain faces a creature at the top.
