"But they can come back anytime."

Nick Fury's voice sounded normal, but Finn understood that he had already designated Asgard as a hypothetical enemy.

"So what!?"

Finn, on his end of the phone, wore a trace of sarcasm. Truthfully, if Nick Fury hadn't actively tried to develop the Cosmic Cube, it wouldn't have been easy for Thanos to drive his fleet into Earth.

For the misery in New York in the original plot, Nick Fury was responsible for at least half, with the remaining half divided among Loki, Thanos, and the Chitauri.

Seemingly having sensed the slight shift in Finn's tone, Nick Fury didn't answer, merely stating plainly: "Earth needs its own strength."

"It does need it, but it depends on what kind of strength."

Finn knew he couldn't stop Nick, but he couldn't help but warn him: "There's nothing wrong with pursuing power, but you mustn't pursue power that cannot be controlled."

Nick Fury was somewhat confused. At this point, he didn't have a definite plan to restart the Cosmic Cube, so he didn't quite grasp Finn's meaning.

Hearing the quiet response on the phone, Finn sighed and continued: "In summary, for now, Asgard is not an enemy. In fact, you could say they are a relatively strong ally."

"Then can you get in touch with them?" Nick Fury pressed.

"I can't. But they have a gatekeeper who seems to be called Heimdall. He can see and hear many places on Earth. If there's a real emergency, maybe you can try calling out his name."

Nick Fury, on the other end of the line, showed a suspicious expression, but he didn't voice it, merely humming in acknowledgement.

Afterwards, the two hung up the phone.

Finn looked out the window. White clouds dotted the azure sky. He wondered if, in the future, another large hole would open up there.

Putting the matter of Thor aside for the moment, Finn found Skye, who was still practicing her powers in the room. She was currently facing a piece of white paper, trying to keep it vibrating.

From the huge pile of shredded paper in the trash can, it was clear she had been practicing for a long time.

"How's the practice going?" Finn walked up to Skye and asked, looking at the constantly trembling paper.

However, due to his interruption, the vibrating paper instantly tore into pieces, shaking the table several times, causing Skye to give him an unhappy glare. She said, "It's all your fault! I was about to break the record."

"A record?" Finn looked curiously at the shredded paper.

"I can keep it vibrating at a single frequency for one minute and thirty-two seconds now," Skye said proudly, wearing an expression that clearly asked for praise.

Although he wasn't sure what was so impressive about that, Finn cooperated and said: "Excellent! Excellent!"

Skye smiled happily, clearly appreciating Finn's praise. While tidying up the shredded paper, she casually asked, "Nothing happened at school today, right?"

"What could happen at school!" Finn sat on the edge of the bed, watching Skye take out a new piece of paper and resume practicing. He asked, "Can you feel your own progress this way?"

"Of course!" Skye replied, sounding matter-of-fact. "At first I couldn't even hold it for ten seconds, but now I can last over a minute without shattering them."

Watching how hard and seriously Skye worked, Finn felt that her talent for superpowers was perhaps comparable to Doctor Strange's talent for Kama-Taj.

To put it nicely, it was extraordinary talent; to put it bluntly, it was like using a cheat.

However, Skye's rapid progress worried Finn somewhat. The reactive force generated by the vibrations was not insignificant; the stronger Skye's power became, the easier it would be for her to injure herself.

Finn hoped that Tony's genius could devise some useful equipment. If not, he would have to think of another method.

Finn spent the entire afternoon helping Skye waste the white paper in the room. After shattering countless sheets, Skye's control over her vibratory waves finally improved significantly.

At least if she were to play music again, she probably wouldn't shatter all the cups.

With the conclusion of the Thor incident, the troublesome month of May was finally over. The arrival of June seemed uneventful, aside from Finn looking forward to summer vacation.

Skye had been progressing steadily these past few days. Compared to his speed in learning the 'Mirror Dimension,' Skye's superpower training was advancing at light speed.

Only a few days had passed, yet Skye could already produce certain musical notes.

When Finn first set this goal, he never expected Skye to achieve it in such a short time. The current situation greatly exceeded his expectations.

Along with the progress, Skye's control over her abilities became more proficient. In their daily life, she even started playing pranks on Finn.

When drinking water, she deliberately made the water in the cup vibrate; when eating, she made the food vibrate, leaving Finn utterly speechless.

However, given the rapid progress of her abilities, Finn let her have her way. Anyway, these minor issues were easily solved with a quick use of the 'Golden Great Divination Spell.'

Amidst this rapid growth, Finn decided to take Skye to see Tony to discuss the matter of the protective bracers.

"You're taking me to see Tony Stark!?"

Although she knew Finn had a good relationship with Iron Man, Skye hadn't expected Finn to take her to see him, so she asked curiously, "What are we seeing him for?"

"Your abilities might cause damage to your arms. I asked him to make some equipment for you, and he needs to measure some data," Finn explained.

"But I don't feel anything?" Skye looked suspiciously at her arm, which didn't appear injured.

"That's because you haven't fully utilized your powers yet." Finn looked at Skye, wondering whether he should let her unleash her full power just once to see what her current limits were.

But worrying that doing so might damage her body, Finn ultimately decided to wait until Tony developed the bracers before taking Skye for a proper test.

Because he worried about Tony's loose mouth, Finn deliberately chose a day when Pepper was free, so she could meet Skye too.

Just as Finn expected, with Pepper present, Tony behaved extraordinarily properly, not even daring to glance around, making Skye wonder if this really was the playboy who used to grace magazine covers every day!?

"How about it? Can you make it?" After a round of testing, Finn inquired of Tony. Not far away, Skye and Pepper were happily chatting together.

"It's not scientific." Tony stroked the stubble on his chin, looking strangely at the data on the computer. "How is she changing the wavelength of these objects?"

"Just tell me if you can make it," Finn asked directly, too lazy to listen to scientific data.

"Give me three days." Tony was clearly confident. Then he looked at Pepper and Skye, who were still chatting, and suddenly asked with a mischievous smirk in a low voice: "Is she really just your older sister? I heard you two aren't related by blood?"

I've been asking for votes for a long time, so I'll recommend a book now. Mutual aid for newcomers, "Sanctuary Player"...

By the way, I wrote the time wrong in a previous chapter. Summer break should start around June. I've corrected the previous parts.
